Lord Exar Kun had a cool suggestion that we start recording demos of classes. So, if anyone feels like recording a class they attend they can send me the demo. I'll upload it to the site and make a post to the Academy Discussion Forum about it. Bye!
edit: When you zip the demo up include a small readme.txt file saying when the class was, what was covered, and where to extract the demos to (jk2_dir\gamedata\base\demos).

...what the ?! Can it be ? I'm making a news post ! How's this ? Because I have transferred to the Staff. I'll still be taking classes and whatnot, but i'll also be working alot behind the scenes.
Here's a problem though. My computer has taken a turn for the worst, and I can't even get windows up. So, i'm going to be away for a little while. Don't wait up on me !

I am deeply sorrowed to announce that because of certain mishaps and time Issues, the CTF tournament is here by cancelled. This is my responsibility and I take fault if it was a failure. I'm sorry to all those whose who were there and tried their best to make it a good one. I thank them all for showing up and giving it their all.

In lack of classes to teach and things to do, I have begun a search for a apprentice... and I have decided to bring this up to a new competition... Academy Idol Basicly, you impress me, I'll put you on the list of consideration.. Then as I thin out the list, we'll have a final battle... Any student who wishes to particapate may...
BE WARNED: Outragous questions, duels, requests, obstical courses will be issued to all who particapates... Your only reward will be the satisfaction that you are my padawan... If you have any at all. No actual battle skills are required, but if you think you got a talent for impressing me, try to catch me on the servers at random times in the day... You'll never know when I'll be on, so try to play as much as possible
(Classes will be made for the students at random times, and I will be checking your background too )

I just received an email from Dom that basically says that everything he had involving JK2 (including builds of his map and other maps and the JKRad/QRad files) are gone, nuked, blammo. Basically that means that for the time being the map is staying as is. Further details will be noted as they're discovered. Now back to your regularly scheduled NF duels

The CTF tournament started today between the first two teams, which will be labelled "A"=RED "B"=Blue. Blue team won 5-3 in what was an exciting battle. "B" will face the winning team from tommorows game "C"vs"D" on Friday at 6PM EST on the [ks] classes-only server. The Losing team will play on Sat. at 6PM for the wildcard spot against the other losing team. Once again congrats and I will see you again soon.
Reminder: The teams MUST Stay the Same throughout the tournament. Unless one person cant make it for connection or time reasons, you cannot add anymore players.

Due to popular demand and mass confusion on install problems, I have repackaged the scripts all in pk3 format to ease the pain. So cease all script activity and save only these 2 files, ja_defaults.cfg and ja_info.cfg. The rest of the files you may delete and ask me for the new version of the script. I also did some tweaks so it is imperitive you get the updated version...

I was browsing the forums and came across this very cool link. It's not JK2 related, but translates well to JK2 playing style. Ulic Belouve and I were discussing this along with the recent "attacking while your opponent is knocked down" controvercy. We feel that if its a legal move (and wasn't scripted or cheated) then it's fair game in a duel. Just like how you can call "no kicks" before your duel you can set other rules as well. Honor comes from abiding by yours and your opponents rules. What are your thoughts on this?
