I just received an email from Dom that basically says that everything he had involving JK2 (including builds of his map and other maps and the JKRad/QRad files) are gone, nuked, blammo. Basically that means that for the time being the map is staying as is. Further details will be noted as they're discovered. Now back to your regularly scheduled NF duels |

OH and another thing, it was due to my CD RW that I lost file sectors and had numerous directories truncated by my OS.
:/ But like I said, there is hope! I did a full sys search and FOUND 1 *.MAP JA last accessed last October 2002. Not exactly sure what state it's in, will find out this weekend. Keep your fingers crossed. -DC _______________ I build the walls that keep you within! |

I know this is going a bit off the wall and asking a tad much, but why not try a brand-new map?
My suggestion would be a map based on the Chu'unthor from the Expanded Universe.. it's a jedi academy ship, with training areas, meditation rooms, meeting places, and healing areas. Basically identical to what you have now, but in a different setting. It's hella easy to find things about it too.. http://swnr.starwarsclub.org/jedi/academy/index.htm has all you'd need to know. Personally I think it would make a great map that would live up to the current one quite nicely. I would also be -more- than happy to offer a few design suggestions for anybody who is willing to take the task on - I'm readily available, a big star wars fan, and have been playing the Dark Forces games since day one, so I think I could offer some helpful ideas if this suggestion were taken to heart.
