Our random JAT meeting is scheduled for 2pm CST (8pm GMT) this Saturday in #ja-meeting on EnterTheGame. We have quite a few subjects to discuss. If you like watching boring procedural meetings all students are welcome to observe. We think you guys may want to see what goes on behind the JA curtains to keep this place running. Whilst skimming the forums, and being harrassed on mIRC by Corruption (!), I just want to highlight the idea.
Luke Skywalker and Dark Blade camne up for the idea of a JKII hydroball team in the academy, here is what he says: "For those of you who are interested, post a comment on this thread. For those of you who do not have the MOD yet, go to http://www.jediknightii.net/files/index.php?link=file&id=332 and download that as well as the patch for it. And for those of you wondering, "Where the hell we gonna play?" Well I got your answer. It was posted on a thread called "Hot Women" by Sared introducing the server and hydroball to the Academy. ***Update***
I've been frequenting the KS server and the JA site; following the threads regarding map issues. Just wanted to let you guys know that I have already altered a few things in order to alleviate some of the problems that have come up following the release. Expect an updated Version 3 next weekend. *** Heya! “Who wants short shorts?! We want short shorts!!!” No wait! Wrong one… “Who wants new map?! We want new map… and so on and so forth…. 
I am happy to say that V3 of the Jedi Academy has arrived and will be up for grabs later tonight! Just a few quick notes for those that are unaware of some jedi_academy map history. - A few weeks ago I had a small melt-down, care of my OS. In this melt-down I lost dozens of directories, JK2 included. I was VERY lucky to find one old .map file of the jedi_academy on my entire system. This being said, the Lost Temple is no more! (gotta love the irony) Sorry to those that loved this part of the map but on the other hand those that didn’t really appreciate the lost temple will be happy to see it gone. (Yes I know who you are! You’re on the list…. I mean…. Yeah..) 
- The pillar room has been redesigned from the ground up and should put a new “spin” on duels. - The Council room is more functional now, important duels may take place there. - If you want more info on what has changed and been added, please read the txt file that will be in the zip. Before I forget, I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all those involved in the beta testing and picture posing! You know who you are! And NO you’re not on the list!

Hey all, Yun here saying I'm still alive... The Maritimes (where I live) just had a horrible Ice Storm, the power has been down in the Greater Moncton/Dieppe/and Riverview area, as well as the rest of the Atlantic area... But those 3 area's were hit the worse (again, where I live). This is no joke, please send your prayers and well wishings, because the people who don't have power may not have it until Sunday...

Well, I'm sorry to say that we have lost our R-O (UK) server. We want to thank reactor-overload for their kindness in letting us use a server, even though it was for such a small amount of time... |

This just in from our oldest remaining trainer (look at his profile id number!), Legolas:
"Legolas here, I'm going to be taking a semi-permanent leave from the JA. I've been going basically non-stop since it's creation over half a year ago with only a few weeks of real off time. I'm going to disapear for about two months and then I'll consider whether or not I want to come back. You'll see another post in the end of March with my decision. I'll still be stopping by, but it will be on rare occasions. My classes will stop until I make my final decision. See you folks later. " Best of luck to you Legolas, you've always got a spot here in the JA |

Datheus reports to me that his computer troubles that have kept him away for a bit have for the most part subsided and he's ready to get back behind the podium. He's going to start out with his staple yellow class, but kick it up to two or three classes a week some point in the near future.

Ladies and gentlemen, there have been several observations of misbehaviour on the Jedi Academy servers. This can not, and will not be tolerated. We are offering a free service to our members, teaching them everything that we know of Jedi Knight II, and work very hard for you. All that we ask is that you follow our rules, and act sensibly and well-behaved on our servers, on our website and in our IRC channel. We work very hard to offer you the best tuition that we can, but it makes it very difficult to do so when people are, quite frankly, shoving it back into our faces. We love to teach, but please, respect that we work very hard !
Please, best behaviour from all of you, or i'll shake my JAStaff stick at ya ! |

All server passwords were changed due to recent events of breaching security. Please remember not to distribute these passwords out to Non-Academy Members...If others are interested in playing here at the JA, have them fill out an application...Thanks!
To Admins: When logging into the server use \ or / before the login command or else all people will see it. When that happens, we have to change the passwords again. So please rememeber to do so!! |
