Unfortunately, the recent structural revamp has meant the lost of one of the Academy's greatest. Lord Exar Kun has decided it's time to move on to different things in his life. He has left a goodbye speech that I have posted in the comments of this post. We wish Exar the best of luck in the future and hope he will one day return to us... they always do  |

Exar's goodbye speech: Quote: The reason as to why I’m leaving the academy is quite simple: the JA has changed in a way that I cant keep up with anymore. When I think back at the days when I joined, I think back with grieve, with a feeling that I want to get back to those times. It shouldn’t be like that. I should be able to think about those times with the same happiness that I should be feeling about the JA right now. We have gone through some rough times, and most of the time we managed. The council has been doing their very best in keeping this place running, and I thank them for that. But with the most recent changed I do not agree. I was already low on time, I couldn’t dedicate myself to the academy anymore. The only thing that really kept me in was my job as Lead Knight. Now that that has been taken away as well, I do not think I can dedicate myself enough to the academy to stay. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not angry at the council for removing my job, I respect their decision. Being lead knight was just what made me feel responsible for a lot of things, and thus it was the thing that made me feel that I couldn’t leave. With that reason gone, I no longer feel inclined to stay. My apologies to anyone who has been to my classes where I didn’t show up lately. Also my apologies to my padawans for not being there to train them, especially JediEthic. RL has really gotten bussy for me now, which I see as a good thing. I have a much bigger social life now, and I just cant combine that with the JA. So farewell my brothers and sisters. I had a great time, and I have the feeling I will miss you all. I’ll be in IRC from time to time, and maybe even on the servers once in a while. I have the feeling this place will stay for a little longer, but it just has to go on without me  .
