I'm not sure if this is SUPPOSED to be out yet, but it is... head on over to AOL's download center (AOL, bleh), and get the new Jedi Academy Demo. I haven't tried it yet, so check the comments for this news post for people to explain what's in the demo. The next phase in the Jedi Academy's history is almost here! |

about that bridge "glitch"... I think you're not supposed to have force jump level three at that time. See, it's a pretty early mission but you already have maxed out neutral forces? Unlikely. In the real game, you propably gotta do the speedjump (which works with jump level 2 aswell and still gets you over to the other side) Or you need to jump of from one of the pillars standing around. _______________ Aeth S'kray *June 2002 +September 2003 |

When I spawned a reborn with staff I did as Obi in ep1. I sliced it so he got two instead of a staff. |

yeah you can spawn the bad guys too if you want to practice on them. npc spawn reborn_staff / reborn_dual / reborn_new there are more.. just experiment. you need cheats enabled though (devmap) and yes i also noticed you could jump across that bridge. maybe they were just trying to discourage you... dono. _______________ make install -not war This comment was edited by Bubu on Sep 09 2003 09:19am. |

i found a (kind of) glitch in the cave level. when ur charachter comes to the broken bridge and says how do i get over there, u can just jump across not sure if any1 else knows tho _______________ if at first you dont succeed, try and try again. if you still dont succeed, youve just wasted a whole lot of time trying something you just cant do

I played Single player for about 2 hours with the 2 sabers. Kinda lame. I donno. I prereged but ow i'm rethinking that. Eh, what am I tlaking about. I'm hoping that for the staff or dual-sabers, that when you turn off one blade, you can set the single-blade stance that you are in. Currently, I think it is dual-sabers to blue; and saber staff to yellow. I want dual sabers, that if I do one blade, go to the yellow (medium) stance. I like the saber staff because I can still go to yellow stance, but I'm more of a fan of the dual sabers. I'll tinker with it more. And all that movement training pays off here. Not too hard to pull of moves, but it is very nice to do kicks, wall jumps, and wall runs with little effort. Edit: and the hard drive transfer trick worked, for those that asked. _______________ Jedi do not fight for peace. That's only a slogan, and is as misleading as slogans always are. I've found that the light-staff is fairly good against gun using enemies, but when it comes to a multiple jedi duel i seem to die very quickly. When I use dual sabers, i get slaughtered by mercs because there is too much spinning. But when it comes to a multiple jedi duel, THEY OWN!!! Also, i find that a single saber is a mix of the two previously mentioned.
