One of our students, JProton has sent me in the following news:
Luke Skywalker has Expressed a desire to start a Jedi Archive, featuring Stories of the Battles Academy Members have gone through and missions that the Academy has sent them on. Please contact him for his opinions. Ive Begun to document some of my Dark Times in the past. If it works it could be a Good Idea for a record (Story) for the Jedi Training here at the Academy. Please leave comments on what you think. |

Well, actually, I'm sure it would be quite fun to have an RPG on some of the history of students, with encounters between one another, a death trap set by Imperials on students of the Academy where a Rebel Strike team comes to aid the students in the ambush....whatever! Let's try to make this as interesting as possible, and maybe inspire another attempt at an RP Class. _______________  Luke Skywalker

mm, sounds good. why not make it a database for EVERYTHING? from the rooms in the JA to reports about clans, mapping tutorials, food recepts (yay!) or cool combos? just... for everything?

to be honest I didnt think about playing PRG to get a history, I just thought or fiction writing,
not sure if luke was thinking of RPG or not. _______________ We have all had Dark Times. Its how we deal with it now that makes the kind of Jedi we are. |

Sounds like a great idea. I think it has great potential to grow into a large unique database that students could refer to for times to come. Neato, interesting journal entries Ulic. However the idea of an archive was discussed by me and Proton before the fact you already had one came to mind, but with your permission, I think it would be very interesting to post your journal in the Archives for more to view and become inspired by your experiences and the Belouve Royal Family .
Ulic's journal is a perfect example of what the Archives will contain. I have also thought of posting factual information in it about the Star Wars Universe, just like in the movies when Obi-Wan was searching for the planet Kamino. This may take a while, but with different people in the Academy sending information that *wasn't* taken from another site, we could actually have the Academy's own databank, both with factual informtaion and creative thoughts. _______________ Luke Skywalker

Hey, I seem to have generated a good idea,
what I meant is that if ppl write the history of their Jedi, and write the adventures that they have had, Luke was chatting to me about it, for about 2 hrs we didnt play the game, and just stayed in charater, and we came up with a basic idea of publishing these adventures in a Jedi Archive, there is not site for it yet however. _______________ We have all had Dark Times. Its how we deal with it now that makes the kind of Jedi we are. |
