Jedi Academy Version 4 Input -=Derelict-Crusader=- May 01 08:57pm -68 comments- |

Version 4 of The Jedi Academy map is nearing release and at the last minute I’ve made quite a few changes. I come asking an important question, it’s regarding the “glass room” AKA “Trail room.” I would like to know how often this room is used as it was meant for trials and such. I feel that this room needs a change; in its place I could do a “matrix” like design or if some recall the “3 platform” design from Version 1 in order to open it up for more duel space. Please post your comments/votes to keep the “glass room” as is or revamp it. Stay on topic here, it will make it easier for me and eventually mean a quicker release of V4. Thanks -DC |

I got this through my mail earlier: Hey guys this is Icco and i need something from you guys. In the holocron project we have a thing called the movement section. in it i am supposed to post how you "move" in jk2 but there is this slight problem, i went on to the servers and no one person could say their movement tips and what not. so i decided to make a news post(with loafs permission)where youu guys can post all of your super cool and super 133t moves from the triple backflip to the strafe jump. put anything here. if you provide useful info you will be given credit in the holocron project. thanks alot! |

Here's some info straight from Raven/LucasArts/Activision about the upcoming Jedi Academy game. Enjoy... · Character customization system - allows players to create their own Jedi in both SP and MP (estimating 2160 combinations currently) · Ghoul II enhancements including the Ghoul infinite Model modification system - Allows for modular model enhancements, custom colorization, and expanded animation support · New ICARUS II scripting system for Single player and Multiplayer. Now allows for scripted events in multiplayer matches. · New map creation tools allowing for models to be used as in world objects instead of just textures. Creates richer 3-D environments. · New non-linear mission progression system. · Raven’s ARIOCHE terrain system. · Portal skies · Rag doll skeletal system · Enhanced vehicle system. Allows for new ride-able vehicles in addition to previous drive-able ones · Character and vehicle enhancements designed to enable expanded mod support. The developers were recently interviewed by Gamespy and gave out a few juicy tidbits of what we can expect to see in Jedi Academy. They discuss fancy new animation tricks and more interactivity with the enviorment. There's no new screenshots though. Enjoy! |

Well not quite... I've been going back and forth in my mind about leaving the Jedi Academy... But alas, I cannot. But I bring you good news on Jedi Outcast Visual Interface... I will finish it very soon (as in a few weeks) and release it to the Academy. So for thoses who haven't forgotten.. It's coming... oh it's coming... Anyways, I've been busy with another game I'm editing with... Quake 2... I've been creating a map (3 years in the making) and I hope to finish that soon and be done with it.. Anyways, I am still around... And I plan to actually goto my Open Session classes this week... Sorry, I've been neglecting them.. :\ |

Ok People, who wants a yearbook? It's all done and dusted, and it took hours to wait on stupid adobe to work, and I just finished uploading the file. Just a reminder. There is to be no password swapping at all to other students or humans. We had once incident today from someone who was still an applicant who had been on the servers. Instead of giving out passwords, please tell your friends to sign up and wait from the application to be processed. It usually is a fast process. Thank you! |
