Yes I'm slightly exploiting the news for this, but I do think its fairly big since we're a Star Wars community.

The Original Trilogy, Theatrical Releases on DVD

"In response to overwhelming demand, Lucasfilm Ltd. and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment will release attractively priced individual two-disc releases of Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. Each release includes the 2004 digitally remastered version of the movie and, as bonus material, the theatrical edition of the film. That means you'll be able to enjoy Star Wars as it first appeared in 1977, Empire in 1980, and Jedi in 1983."

Even though I have already bought gotten the Original Trilogy on DVD, I fully plan to buy these so I can see the movies the way I first had.

Its too bad we'll have to wait until September for this and its only for a limited time at that. Still its a great demonstration in that the demands of the fans still do get listened to.

The JA Calendar 2006 - Part V: May -Virtue- May 01 07:02pm -8 comments-
Hello dudes and dudettes! It's time for the May-edition of our very own JA calendar!

May 2006 - Enjoy!

We will be doing some recruiting of new people in the next month or two, so if you're interested you can contact us on our thread.

For this, be sure to post what you think you could do, how skilled you are with certain gfx-producing/editing programs, and just generally where you're from and how often you'd have the chance to work.

I'll go over the rules of sending us pictures one more time:

  • We want pictures/screenies with a resolution that is equal/larger to that of 1024x768

  • The pictures don't have to be JA/JK3/Star Wars -related.

  • You submit the picture, we slap a calendar on it.

  • You can find our mailbox here!

Finally it has been released! This has definitely been a long road in the process and I want to thank everyone for sticking with me. As a token of my goodwill, the documentation explains how to obtain the JAE Mod source for your own modifications. w00t! So server admins, grab the JAE Mod 1.0 and start hosting.

You will also be able to find this file on pcgamemods.com and jk3files.com soon.

Thanks Again!

  • RolePlaying Script

  • And much, much more...

Come and get it now at:
JAE Script

Installation instructions are in the readme, so be sure to read them first before using the script.

Enjoy!

Please Note: This is not the official mod release for those who are first timers in this.

Daylight Savings -Virtue- Mar 27 06:41am -18 comments-
Or words to that effect...

I'm not entirely sure about the rest of the world here, but Britain for one set their clocks forward by one hour early Sunday morning.
As such, everyone please be aware that the Classes that you are enrolled for may be an hour later than they appear on the Classes page.

If there is no-one on the Classes Server when your class is due to start or a different class from the one you enrolled for is in session when you connect, check the Server again an hour later, just to be sure.

Calling all people who are good at stuff!! -Virtue- Mar 21 05:02am -28 comments-
We've got yet another "Secret Project" on our hands. This one isn't nearly as big as the main one that I'm doing, but that doesn't mean it's any less important. :)
Plus, this one won't stay secret for very long. :P

Okay, we need Mappers, Skinners and a handful of creative people to help brainstorm ideas for it.

Tido is going to manage this one, so please E-Mail your requests to be on the staff to him.

I do encourage you to be a part of this if you can, as it's going to be pretty cool when it's done. :)

Here's a small insight...

Mappers - You'll be building a series of small maps for the project. Nothing huge or too hard, it'd be a good way to build on your skills or just stay in the mapping game.

Skinners - You'll likely just be adding small changes/additions to current JA models, nothing too dire, but you are needed, nonetheless. :)

Creative Staff - You'll be working with Tido to come up with ideas for the project (when you know what it is) which will then be passed on to the Mappers to build. :D

So what are you waiting for? This is gonna be cool!

Go for it!!
