Well, GOD DA**IT!! None of my ideas seem to work! I'm starting to get really frustrated here. :(

Ashley- The Holocron is as Aeth mentioned. Thanks for asking! Version 1.0 is already written...we're just waiting (not quite so patiently any more) for DJ to code/upload/whatever-he-needs-to-do-to-it so everyone can view it on the JA site.

Ruuk, he cannot delegate it. He = the man. The hard code of the website has to be changed, he's the only one to do it :)

Ashley, it will replace the FAQ, aka be part of the website.

I'm e-mailing him presently...again. He must be swamped. I'm going to suggest he delegate this thing to someone else to build.

Jenko- You're welcome, thanks for dragging it over here...and thanks for your interest.

Aeth- */me bows*

I've e-mailed DJ in the past couple days and asked for an update. (Told him that my Staff was chomping at the bit!) No comment...yet. That can mean only one thing: bad news! Hopefully he is silently working on this and we'll see it soon.
:( :D

-Ah, no problem, you're welcome.

:D

Serious, thanks for your interest. Always good to have somebody (at least pretending) to care about the holocron. It should be out in the next few weeks. We've already sent it to DJ... he only need to built a website for it, and here we go :)

Thanx to MINDofSIN I found the answer, thanx for the tip Ruuk Haviser......

"Q: What is the Holocron?
A: Short version - An archive of the academy done by the academy members for the academy members.

Long version - The Jedi Academy Holocron started to develope in the forums of the academy. Several people got the same idea of starting a form of archive or knowledge project. However, the main group assembled around the Project later called Holocron. It's purpose is to collect ALL the knowledge of all the academy members. To achieve this high goal there will be several steps. The first step is to publish the "official" part of the holocron. It is divided in several section like for example saber, guns or CTF. All theese aection are written by small groups or single persons who collect all the basic stuff they can find. After several steps of editing theese sections are put online and free to everyone to read. The first section, or better the first parts of theese sections, will be published on 31th May in the year 2003 a.D. This is gonna be a kind of preview and will be part of the site like for example the "class" part. However, it is planed to put up an "unofficial" section of the holocron. Every member of the Academy is free to submit small essays or bigger articles about a certain topic in JK2. Everybody is invited to share their knowledge and cover a new topic which has not been discussed yet.
This is gonna be a long term project though, but the first step on its journey will be the pre-release on 31th May."

LOL!

Jedi Jenko- This is essentially going to be the Jedi Academy/JK2 manual "that never was"...to use Jake's terms. It will provide a great deal of information about both subjects, which will be of great use to the newer members of the JA...as well as be helpful to the rest of the crowd. There are several people who have come asking this same question, and if you drill down further into the forum here (next page) you'll undoubtedly find a couple posts very similar to yours...and with the appropriate - and more detailed - answers.

[If any of the Holocron Staff want to either find that thing and bump it up, or copy/paste into here the best parts of several posts, that would be great.]

Ok, I'll let someone else take a shot at this. With this question, I have a tendency to provide EXTREMELY long answers. :D
