I'm back online after about a four month downtime..moving cross country and all. I am an experienced player pretty good with red single..but barely average with yellow and blue. i plan to start enrolling in classes but i was hoping to find a master to help me with my problem areas and improve my gameplay overall. Delta nad I have said this before, but ,a quick reminder for all those who want a master I dunno if its my place to say this...but ill say it anyway to become a better saberist it is not necessary to have a master, a master is really just a friend who helps you out with his other padawans, not the be all and end all of becoming better (thats not to say that it doesnt help though )remember, the first port of call is the classes most JAK+ hold classes anyway, and you can learn the same things there. also take note of Jaiko's Class which is kinda like a paddy session with one on one training in specific game aspects and Skyler's paddy sessionthe second is to remember that you fellow students can also teach you. many have been here a long time and have very good saber skills. 1337 skills are not the reason why people are made JAK, so many of the best duellists may not actually be the JAK+. if you want to know something...ask. everyone that i can think of is happy to show you some tricks and moves if you but ask them. many of these people may also take onofficial padawans, Carda and the Jowols are probably the biggest example of this and finally, you can learn a lot yourself. just duel and watch others duel. treat every victory as proof that youve learnt something. and a defeat as a lesson. learn from thoses who are better than you. If youre looking for a master, its also worth looking at the Looking for a padawan thread. Im eager to learn as many as possible for becoming a great jedi myself to share my knowledge with others.I play JKA since it came out so i think i know pretty mutch, still i think i am not skilled and wise enough. When i play JKA i try to play jedi like by following the jedi way as much as possible, i really like to take the game serious. I am most likely to be available between the hours of 1 and 3 AM GMT (8-10PM US eastern time) or else between 9 and 11 AM GMT (4-6AM US eastern time). |

I'm looking for a Master... I like to use single saber, medium and strong styles, and saber staff. I live in Singapore, which is GMT +8 hrs, and I would prefer my master to be a JAK, though it's not a must... My master should have a good sense of humour and must also teach me when to SHUT UP!!! lol... sorry... but that part is true ppl seem to find spamming the chat board in the Temple offensive for some reason... He should also know when to be serious... Yes.... So, If anyone is looking for a padawan, then I hope you choose me before I go over to the Dark Side... Heh, weird to post here, but yes, I'm looking for a master.. I would need to learn manners, guns, saber combos.. Some of you guys might know I'm not the newest guy in here, but I've got some spare time beginning next week and I'm more than interested in becoming someone's padawan.. I don't think I have any particular JKA skills, and don't even bother to think I have manners ! GMT +2 (Finland) Speak fluently: Finnish, Swedish and English.. Sidenotes: Graphical artist, Guitar player, martial artist (Muay Thai(Thaiboxing)).. Prefer to be teached by someone JAK+.. Not a must, but preferable..
