I am looking for someone who could instruct me in the use of yellow and red styles of single saber.

Currently i have an understanding of how these two styles work, however i am yet to truly develop my own style, or become consistant with either, i would very much like to improve.

Current style:I duel with a hybrid yellow/red style at the moment.
Timezone:GMT
Availability:My times are quite flexible however due to college it must be after 5:30pm GMT(this may vary ask me for further details)
Time playing:Been playing JK since JK1+JO, however ive only been playing this game online since late september, and i joined the academy on the 29th of October.

Other information:Im thought of as a quiet person both in rl and online, im quite calm under pressure but i definetly enjoy having fun.

Still i would like my skills in the game to improve, and to become a better player all round. Only since joining the JA have i realised how much JK3 and the series has to offer and how difficult it actually is

Additional Information:
Skill: Well I have been playing for a short amount of time, but I catch on very quickly just need someone to show me some things. I am pretty efficient in Dual Sabers as that is the only style I pretty much use. Red Single I hear is the strongest and what most good duelers use yet I have no experience with them so I dont use them. When i join Duel games i use Staff or Dual because I can usually win using one of the two.

Personality: Very willing to learn. I have ADD but I take a medication so I am about 100% calm, I dont get angry at all, I am very nice, very easy going, If you want to get me mad you will have no luck its impossible, and am willing to listen for long amounts of time.

Master: I am looking for a master who is skilled using Single Red and Dual Yellow who can show me some things and give me some help.

Being still sorta new to Jk3 even though the games has been out forever im looking for a single saber duelist that can teach me basically all about jk3. Im a friendly person and practice non-stop till I get it right I listen well and always respectfull. I played jk2 and my style isnt as effective as it used to be.Im looking to try to combine many diffrent styles to be able to counter almost every type of attack so a vast knowledge would be much appreciated. Im in the -5 zone. Im usually free most of the time looking for someone dedicated and enjoys teaching and sparring. DONT ALL JUMP AT ONCE /sarcasm

I'm back from my little break which I really needed and now I think this is a great opportunity for my request. I would like to announce once more, that I am looking for a Master that is willing to help me with my progress towards knighthood. I'm eager to learn, listen and practice. I would like to improve my current saber techniques and if you are able to teach me more than that, it is very appreciated. I am also very excited to learn more about anything related to star wars and the Jedi way. I use single saber most of the time. I am 17(almost 18) years old and I live in the Netherlands(GMT+1). That's why we hold Classes here at the JA. A Master should only be sought out if you are unable to make any of the Classes that teach what you are interested in. If it's an unofficial pairing you're looking for, just train with other Students.

It would be nice to have a Master as I find it very hard to learn from myself. One of the sole reasons I joined this group was to further my lightsaber skills....I also know that there are alot of great players on here, especially the head of you all. I would really appreciate learning some of these skills you guys have so I can use them and maybe even pass them on..

I don;t think I am looking for a primary Master though...just someone to learn the odd thing from...so an unofficial pairing most probably...I wouldn't want to be being trained constantly.

I only just joined though so I should imagine I have to prove myself first!

Well my whole deal is this:

A master would be nice cause I'm always looking for ways to improve my saber technique. However, my clan is somewhat particular about officially asking for masters outside of the clan. I don't know if this would apply to me since I am in the upper half of the ranks (i.e. one of the management as well as one of the Masters for new recruits).

What I would deem to be an unofficial master though would be someone who would teach me something every now and then, but training me wouldn't be their primary focus.

So I guess what I'm saying in so many words is that I'll be an unofficial paddie for someone who will be an unofficial master.

I live on Central Time if that's any help.

Hi!

I think it's time..

I'm actively searching someone to teach me from the basics up to the advanced stuff in virtually every style withing the single saber..

I mostly used yellow/red, and blue is fairly said my weakest stance..

I've been with the JA for a couple of years, but I have never had anyone to teach me regularly.. Some people have been nice and helped me out occasionly, but I think it's time I have someone to guide me a bit more..

I'm not a complete beginner since I've played the game since it came out.. Just that I always just played for fun so I really haven't got that much of a technique in the game yet.

As I said I use single saber,
I'm GMT +2 (Finland),
and available most of the week with some exceptions which aren't regular in time..

I hope someone who has teached before and is used to doing so, would like to 'take me under their wing'

so to speak.. If you're unsure that you can teach new stuff to me then don't bother replying to this comment. (not meant disrespective in any way, just that I don't want people who are unsure of themselves to teach me..

Since my former Master JesT D'Kana finished her adventure with JKA I look for new Master.

Ok. My info:

- Single saber user. (Now difficult to say how advanced i am in each styles) Blue - basic. Yellow - we can say 'intermediate'. Red - intermediate.

- Mostly i want to concentrate on single saber, but i dont hestiate to learn duals or staff.

I. 12.12.2004 - Joined the Academy.
a) Learned basic single (Dash Starlight, Kenny Jowol)
b) Learned movement (Jaiko's Intermediate Duel Movement("The Dance"

)
II. Started playing on publics, most of time at NJO.
a) Became padawan of JesT D'Kana. Advanced yellow training.
b) 8.7.2005 - Gained {Y} (Youngling/trail) status in {NJO} clan.
c) Jest stopped playing JKA.
d) 8.10.2005 - Promoted to {JK} (Jedi Knight) rank in {NJO} clan.
III.
a) Started going to Intermediate/Advanced Saber Mechanics by 3th.
b) Started learning about TFFA on TFFA Basics by 3th.
c) Today...

Hi, I have been gone for a long while and am now back and I am seeking a master to teach me things that i have forgotten over my time of absence and also teach me new things, and maybe even tell me what has changed since i left in January of 2004.I am up to learn any stance, any type of saber, and I have no force preference. time i play: hard to say but usually from 6 in the morning for a couple of hours and then at 16:30 for about 4 hours and at weekend pretty much all day from 6am till 8pm
