Hello there,

I am writing this here and now, because I need your help guys.
The Jedi Knight Jedi Academy activity has never been this down over the past months: less servers running, less players playing, more players losing any motivation and will to continue playing this beloved game of ours - Jedi Knight Jedi Academy.
I have been playing this game for some good years, that I don't even remember myself for how long, where I have meet various of interesting people, which made me keep playing it until these very days.

I am inviting you all to register an account and play on the Electronics Sports League website(link - http://www.esl.eu/eu/jkja/), a website that has been running our Jedi Knight Jedi Academy section for years, and been keeping players from all mods together, playing, enjoying, competing, having fun.

I have been told that "ToasteR" the MLA - Head Admin of the Jedi Knight Jedi Academy(Jk:JA) section, a good friend of mine and a respectable player and admin among "Jka" players, has stepped down from his Admin position, which saddens me, and I am not willing to give up now, so his work will not be in vain, nor see the death of the game that I been playing for so very long.

You may be asking yourself, Who is this guy ?

I go by the nick name Trey in game, I am currently an ESL admin, and I have been playing this game for so long that I don't even remember for how long.
I have moved from base scene to mods such as : ja+, clan mod, then back to base scene.
I been playing on ja+ mod for over 2 years or 2 years and half, where I haven't joined too many clans, even tho I was receiving invitations from other clans at that time, I been into one clan and sticked with it until the day it died.
Made my way up from the very bottom ranks to the rank of leader, for my efforts which I put into my clan, and because I like working with a group of people, never been the lone wolf type.
After 2 years spending with my ja+ clan, I have felt there was something that was missing, I needed a challenge, a goal, something.. something, so I moved back to base scene, where I tried to improve my skillz in game, where I found out about this awesome community called Electronics Sports League, where people play together and try to have fun, while they strike to be better in game, or just for the sake of playing.

I'd like to mention, I got my ass wooped a lot at first by many players from the base scene :P,suffering loss after loss, but that did not made me give up on competing,or stopping me being a part of the ESL community, as there is an old saying: what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger!
Thing which happend, I have improved a lot over the years, I quickly adapted and overcame any obstacle and player that I encountered and found hard to face, to the point where I can beat any top player, and reached top ranks, winning jka cups that ESL has to offer and received it's prizes.
By doing so, I have meet loads of interesting players, and made new friends and buddies, gained respect of the top players that I used to admire in game.

What is ESL about more exactly?

To compete, to have fun, to play the game as it was meant to be played.

Is ESL only about winning?

Well the main goal is winning, but that's just one goal that many players like to achieve, which makes them keep playing and strike to be better, however.. I have never took it this way.
Winning is fun and gives everyone a good satisfaction about themselves, and makes them famous to say so in game, but if winning is your only goal, then you will get bored of the game pretty soon and quit.

I always took ESL as a journey, an adventure, playing for fun while doing my best to win, and by doing so, winning just came naturally to me, it did not matter if I lose or win, I just enjoyed playing and everything else just came on it's way.

What ESL got to offer?

Ladders such as :

TDM ladder - Team Death Match -> http://www.esl.eu/eu/jkja/tdm/ladder/ (where you can register a team of minimum 3 players or more)

2on2 Saber Ladder -> http://www.esl.eu/eu/jkja/2on2saber/ladder/ (where you can grab a friend or mate and join to compete and have fun)

1on1 Saber New Ladder -> http://www.esl.eu/eu/jkja/1on1saber/new_ladder/ ( where you play against various players and their unique styles, and you can use any lightsaber such: single saber, dual sabers, or staff)

1on1 Saber Single Only Ladder - > http://www.esl.eu/eu/jkja/1on1saber/singleonly_ladder/ (where you are only allowed to use single saber weapon)

And many other cups , for example the JNC(Jedi Nation Cups) cup that is taking it's place at the moment -> http://www.esl.eu/eu/jkja/tdm/jnc_2013/ (where players from different countries can play for their own nation in TDM matches, and at the end of the the cups the winning team, or player, depending whether is a 1o1 cup or TDM/2o2 cup, will receive prizes).

Makes me miss old competitive JKA days... but I am afraid these are long gone unless some sequel of the game comes out.

Good luck nonetheless. :)

You copy and pasted a text designed for JA+ clanners. It's easy to tell because the question Quote:
You may be asking yourself, Who is this guy ?
is completely out of place, since everyone here knows who you are! 'Roch on!

But yeah I agree, everyone go sign up for the ESL or something before they close down the section.
