the thing is, when i joined this site, i was hoping to find servers with a decent number of people playing at almost any time. i dont know if i have joined at the wrong times, but i am always alone in a server, does anyone know any active/busy servers?

I'm afraid there are only a few genuinely active servers left. Some people on there are nice and some are not and use foul language. Like yourself

It means you can have fun without having to learn how to play or become competitive.

As an addendum to Dash's last paragraph I would like to say that if you are looking to get better at the game, you will necessarily have to play on unmodded/unregulated servers, so dealing with people of questionable quality, let alone swearing, will be unavoidable. Luckily, JKA is tame enough as a game that people can treat it as a roleplaying experience or a 3d interactive chat channel (which many of the ja+ clanners most definitely do), so you can draw on the benefit of playing around with lightsticks in a 'jedi-esque' SW themed environment with nice people without having to dedicate yourself to the art of war.

I'm afraid there are only a few genuinely active servers left. Some people on there are nice and some are not and use foul language. Like yourself, I'm not exactly happy with all the foul language, but yeah, I agree with Monty... It helps to just ignore it so you have a few more servers to choose from.

I think the following have rule enforcement against foul language, although you shouldn't be surprised if you still encounter any - sometimes, in large quantities (admins may not always be around, some may not do their jobs, etc...):
- The Deutscher Imperial Server;
- The Legend Server;
- The PeaCe Server.

There are probably others as well. These servers feature the JA+ mod. Duel servers tend to use base and players are harder there. My suggestion is that you learn some basics first and once you're ready, venture into duel servers as this will probably make you a skilled dueller. Bare in mind that becoming skilled takes time, patience and dedication. Don't expect to beat up experienced players overnight... assuming you're interested in becoming good at this game and you aren't yet.

Thanks for the good response. Do you know where I might find these servers? And since I'm a Christian, I'd only like to play on servers where it is not allowed to use foul language.

Unfortunately we can only moderate our own servers in respect to the language but I find ignoring the people that u foul language will open up more servers for you my friend.

I'm sure more active people will point you in the direction of busier servers tho

Hey Mdluli, welcome to the JA. :)

Many years ago, the servers were populated round the clock. Obviously, this has declined as the Jedi Knight series of games have become older (JK2 was released in 2002, JKA in 2003). There was often activity in the evenings european time, but that will likely be much less or non-existant now that SW:TOR has been released.

I'm not sure what FFA servers are active, but I know that there are active CTF servers and MB2 (mod) servers.
