Wow, what a lovely mess we have all created for ourselvs here. I'm going to be VERY blunt about this, I don't mean any offense to anyone, but hopefully we will all be able to get on with our lives afterwards; 1: XiLe!, It's things like "i havent done a thing exept offer my skills and whoop butt" that gives you this reputation. Not your clan. It just so happens that many people have found that alot of people from your clan hold that same attitude. Don't go around saying that you "whoop butt", your comment there seemed very pompous and arrogant (I realise that it was motivated by your frustration of the situation, but nevertheless), this attitude is what puts people off of you. It even disgusted me when I first read it. 2: Sauce, respectfuly, my friend, you are wrong. Tido and Leif have both been a part of Wovian and they were ranked here at the JA. As stated before, we base our opinions off of the individual, not the clan that they are afilliated with. And I do sincerely apologise to those of you who believed otherwise.  We could all learn something from this. XiLe!, I do hope that this little 'situation' hasn't put you off of playing on our servers and wanting to be a part of our community. All I ask is that you be respectful and to not go around, preaching about how much you 'pwn'. To those who may have called XiLe! any of the things he mentioned in his previous statement, then it's you who need to be watching your backs. This stuff is not tolerated. If you have a problem with another member, go see a Ranked member and we will see to it that something is done about it. DO NOT hurl insults and flamings at them. How can you complain that a person (or a group of people) have bad attitudes when YOU are the ones flaming them? Common sense, people! Anyways, I seriously doubt anyone meant any real harm. I think we can now forget about this situation and move on. XiLe! is a Student of the Jedi Academy and WILL be treated as such. And to everyone. I respectfully close this thread. wovian is well known for their glitching skills. everything would be allright with that but when some of them glitch even here. why i hate glitchers? when you say that they glitch they are have numerous ways of annoying you. like 'no i dont glitch' , 'YOU glitch' etc. thats what makes us ignorant too. to live happy in JA you must not glitch anyway to teach you dont have to have teacher status. you must firstly teach others and only then you will be considered a JAK or whatever status. _______________ playing jk3 since 30th of january (2005), member since 1st of february. Thanks to Buzz and Grad for clarifying a few things. Apart from the clan thing which has been mentioned by Grad, i totally agree with everything. LET ME KINDA ROUND ALL THIS up thne ye? Basicly his clan is one of the best, and he is judged by most becuase of the way his clan acts (some) but he shouldnt, he MAY be judged as of his style. On a lighter note, let's drop the clan discussion here. There is no clan that's at the top of the world skillwise or attitude wise or both, it's a friggin game. It's like saying people from CAL in Counterstrike the the best grouped players in the world (or US rather, as Masta said) It's total bull and anyone who takes a game that seriously needs to seek professional help immediately. Now, there are indeed people who hang around certain groups and are judged by it from the beginning. We don't immediately throw them down and insult them because they wear some tag. We keep a close eye on them, watch so see if they have attitudes similar to their "friends" and let them screw themselves over. What do I mean by this? And you wonder why people associate you with certains groups. I'm sorry if people started judging you right away, and I encourage whoever did to not do it again. And I'm sorry if people were calling you names and making you feel not welcomed. That is not the case, all are welcome. But to all members of the JA, if you've been judged prior to coming around here based on your attitude or what types of people you hang around, think about the reasons and try to fix it before coming here, even if it means using a different name. It is obvious to me and it should be obvious to everyone else that his clan is skill-wise the very top of the US community right now. What he has been entitled in the JA (probably) without any reason, doesnt have anything to do with where his clan is standing in the jk3 community. There IS a world outside of the JA. My point is, people should stop beeing ignorant and having prejudices against other people just because of their tag/name. This community is based on respect and everyone deservs the same amount of respect despite the clan he is in. edit:\\ His clan isnt known for beeing nice, its known for beeing very skilled though. People tend to think of skilled duelists who usually play outside of the JA as bad and evil persons who constantly flame and swear. Squib, his clan is known as beeing 1337...or wait..."as the best US clan there is". This kind of reputation follows the clanmembers everywhere and most ppl just base their opinions of this reputation. They dont even want to see or know the real person behind the tag. Prejudices and ignorance, thats what i call it. While I agree noone should be judged based on actions of clan mates and everyone should be concidered on thier own merits. Especially here in the JA which is clan neutral ground. I would also say (without sarcasm) that I would always be proud to be concidered in the same light as any member of any clan I was in. If you do not feel that way and would rather not be viewed in the same way as clanmates then I would strongly suggest that there is a problem somewhere. I don;t know anything about your clan or your position within it. Welcoem to teh academy, I can understand wanting to teach, but you see we try to keep it as a honor and responsability few have, because lots simply like to have the power which is not what the position is for. Although I understand that for real life some people actauly like to teach, ( not saying our teachers we have already don't :p ) Anyhow just be an eager student shining example, and you might get there in a year or so *makes an evil laugh* ( The academy is THE place to learn, and the students like my self are the water of the academy. Yes, its indeed very sad to see that ignorance and prejudices have manifested themselfs into the very heart of this community. You should keep screenshots of these kind of events and maybe talk to someone whos in charge to make these sort of ppl go quiet.
