Which next-gen console are you going to get, if any? I'm going to stick with Nintendo like i have for my whole gaming life and get the Revolution. The promise of a new Zelda is just too much to ignore! Well first off let me clarify: I wasn't saying that Microsoft was calling it the Xbox 2 rather than Xbox 360, all I was saying was that the name Xbox 360 was so fundamentally moronic that I would not dignify it with recognition beyond that needed for others to understand what I was talking about. Spite, not stupidity  . Secondly, as for the backwards compatibility of the Xbox 2, or lack thereof, that's simply what I had read on the subject and in this heated battle of systems I'm not at all surprised to find out that something I thought I knew about a system is outdated.And Sondar, I wasn't at E3, though a few of my co-workers were. /shrug whatevs.  Sontendosoft X-Revstation 3 _______________ "It's because I love you. Cap'n Muad, you apperently don't do a ton of research before posting. First off, the offically name is Xbox 360, NOT Xbox 2. Secondly they are backwards compatible, for select games. They are going to do something so that some Xbox games can play, because honestly...how many people out there own and want to play some Xbox games. Flat out some games flopped and suck horribly, so they aren't going to work all games, still, the developers have all said they love the set up, and can do a ton with it. Also, despite the fact that you have to pay for live, I wouldn't have it any other way. They can control it, so that theres no moron's out there pissing people off, they cna get banned if they are stupid. I think Microsoft will do pretty well though, in part due to the fact that they're releasing their system ~6 months before either Nintendo or Sony.Overall though I'm betting on the Nintendo Revolution. 'WTF?' you say? Well there's exactly one feature that Nintendo has presented with their system which I believe blows away both the PS3 and the Xbox 2. And that is this: Nintendo is planning on offering a free online service with which you will be able to download any N64 or SNES game to play on your system. Uber Backwards Compatibility! I love the old school games. First game to download: Chrono Trigger!  So those're my thoughts on the subject. Take it for what you will. w00t, Chrono Trigger! It IS called Xbox 360 though. ps3 will suck in comparrison to GFX etc... all the Xbox 360 games are Xbox Live ( Playstation has yet to really attract a online community ) and all XBox 360games are HIGH DEFINITION ! w00t PS3 will out sell it due to the "SONY" label but thats all.
