I used to poke waay back then. It totally messed me up, have to admit that  As poke and no poke styles are quite different, at least I think so. And it takes great effort to play without it, especially when you play against pokers.

I don't mind using extension in TFFA's - however I'd not use them against fellow JA members... as they are clear of this style. I don't consider them bug, but I also don't consider them as 'good to teach' new players, who should focus on getting first graps of the game.
however, I'm no newbie, I won't sleep bad over extensions, if they are used against person who uses them, or against poker. As for glides - they are gay.. Make you too open and predictable, so I avoid them, not to mention it's buggy move.

Well, I use yellow as well, but I aim to be a hybrid, using whatever stance is more convinient, depending on the opponent and the situation. Being a hybrid gives me more space to being variable and less predictable.
While i have great knowledge base about yellow, which helped me tons, my red is like a weed, I use it rather random and probably lack the effectivity I could with having some training
