GAH!!  That ftp install won't work either for some reason. I get to the point where I have to choose an interface (serial, parallel, or ethernet) and there actually is no choice for ethernet! An RSS feed is basically just a file with short versions of headlines and a brief description of the story involved. By putting it in a common format, it lets anything with RSS support able to get those headlines.. Quite a few newspages like Slashdot and The Register use it, and its nice to have the headlines in my email client Odds are that it would only take a little bit of manipulation on the front page to have it spit out an RSS feed, as the code for headlines and stories is already there.. |

Hey DJS! I finally got to see the X2 movie and... one word... awesome!! Nightcrawler's introduction into the movie is well done, if u'd know him from the comics u'd say:"that's good ol' nighty all right!". Don't let urself be misled however, Mistique IS nightcrawler's real mother, at least according to the comics it is, and Rogue was her 'adopted' child. Anyway it is a great movie and i enjoyed it! RSS feeds would rock! Edit: A bit of research shows that RSS feeds are basically just generated XML. The specifications can be found at http://backend.userland.com/rss and there's an example at http://static.userland.com/gems/backend/rssTwoExample2.xml Hope this helps if you're going to go for it This comment was edited by itsme on May 09 2003 05:28am. |

Hey, My CDROM is a SONY CD-RW CRX210E1. Now in clarity or maybe unclarity of thot last night while I was in bed I thot: Hmm, maybe FreeBSD doesn't like CD-RW drives as CD ROMs. That's kind of a long shot but maybe possible. Also, keep in mind that I am trying to work out a dual boot system alongside XP. They won't share a single drive. I have my CDROM on IDE controller 1 configured as slave (obviously). Lastly, how does that whole net install work? I do have a cable connection. w00tEDIT: BTW, there are two "Bane" 's registered. DJ: Kinda thot u'd like that pic! It was difficult to make it look just right. But in the end I think it looks cool. The problem I'm having is: 1) CD will not boot on starup. 2) So I use the boot floppies and everything seems fine but once I get past sysinstall and everything starts installing I get mad errors! Mainly a: acd1s1 error. (I am most likely misquoting that error. But it is something like that.) To me, since it does not read any of my install cd's nor does it install due to what looks to me like a cdrom driver error or something very similar. the reason that skyler punished MT_ELITE pLOO kOON was because he was trip minining the door to the outside and inside the academy. moreover, he then decided it would be funny to sit there with demo-packs and use mind trick to kill people before they got outside. imo i believe skyler was justified. i think this is where i'm gonna make my complaint : well i was playin in home server and we where playin about outside with the guns and then skyler does somethin that makes me not be able to move and says that i need to learn soe rules and y he did it i don't know most probably i did'nt see him writin to me as he did'nt say my name so i thought he was talking to some1 else and then he said get back in the game which i can't move so after a while he kicks for a reason i am not aware about and i respect JA members _______________ Moo |
