1) okay, i'll remember your GMT-8  2) Yeah Linux can do such things (Linux > Windows, remember   )3) c1 hasn't replied  4) I still think that waiting for any SP SDK (official or not) would be better. It's not sure that SP works like MP... 5) About MP, I meant that we could make maps, skins and models and a mod and give them out (seperately). Oh, I forgot to add this: those DLLs you told me to check are still DLLs. I play JKA with winex, which runs Windows programs. So it's the same there. But there are no tools to build DLLs for linux. We need to talk about the SDK situation. I need to catch you on IRC some day... However since you're GTM-7 we're gonna have a problem. I suggest that... erm... we use the profile comments So:First of all, here's my suggestion. We can make the maps, the models, the skins, the sounds and everything and then decide if we gonna do the MOD for SP or MP first. I suggest that if the SP SDK isn't out till then, that we do it MP and wait till the SDK to do it for SP. However, your suggestion is indeed reasonable. We could try to ask Raven for SDK, nothing to lose (just a 99.9% "NO!" reply )About trying to make SP SDK through MP SDK, here's my thought; I give you lots of pairs of numbers (x,y) where y=f(x)... Every pair is about the same f()... Try to figure out the function... The only difference from OUR facts is that our case is a little bit easier, but just a little... The problem is, I got the game on Linux but due to some little problems I don't really play it on linux but on windows currently (). So I code for Windows (it's exactly the same as Linux, except DLLs). But my compiler is GCC which is a Linux one, ported to Windows through CygWin or through DJGPP (I got both ). Anyway, I'm waiting for c1 to reply (he doesn't seem to be active ) Now, about mapping. The problem is that my experience replies on MP and not SP mapping.
