Yup, gone just about a year! And I agree, cats are amazing animals. I'm what you'd consider a "cat person", except for may last dog(Bear - http://groups.msn.com/TheJAPhotoCollection/billysphotoalbum.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&PhotoID=64 ). Unfortunately, I had to put him to sleep a few months ago. But the epilogue to that story: We took Felix to the vet and she checked him out. We were ready to leave and while my mother was paying the bill, I brought Felix out to the car and he escaped from the box! The vets office is surrounded by woods and he darted right into them. We called him for an hour and nothing and we went home, sans Felix. We went back a few hours later with his dish and some food and he came to the sound of his dish banging on the pavement. We let him eat a little and then I grabbed him and put him in the car. He stuck around for another year or so then took off again and we haven't seen him since (that was 1982, I don't think he's coming back )Anyway, I hope I didn't bore you too much! BTW - I noticed you're a fellow New Yorker! Smily,my mom brought home a female mother cat and 1 kitten for my younger sister,that cat escaped and got pregnant and we already had 3 cats,it had a litter of 4 and then it escaped again and it had 1 more baby,add all of that together and think of your cat puking,eating costs,vet costs,hair (they are long haired cats,god...) and cat litter mess times 10! they are very annoying most of the time but there okay i guess,sometimes its very frustrating but oh well,i can understand 1 cat but 10! theres Pippin the orange one Azlan the black and white one Ewok the brown/lightbrown one who looks like an ewok Grey one the grey haired one with two white diamond tears under both eyes Baby aka Elsanor another grey one who thinks she owns the place Mamma kitty the mother of all who keeps ripping out her hair with her theeth and sometimes swallows it and pukes it out later Ruffeee! aka Ruffus my cat,orange and white and has extra toes grown hes cool and thats my cat... Squeek a different mom whos already been there from a long time ago Blacky my older sisters fat chubby black cat and Hagel,he ran away about 4 years ago and we see him every now and then but never get to pet him well thats it, oh and we have a dog thats the cutest one of all! his names Jack hes skinny Black lab but skinnier like a greyhound and has a white belly with black dots on it and a white tippes tail. those are our pets kinda heck-Teck sometimes but its alright. -Plo _______________ Free Tibet!
