A way out west there was a fella, fella I want to tell you about, fella by the name of Michael Plank. At least, that was the handle his lovin' parents gave him, but he never had much use for it himself. This Plank, he called himself Plankcore. Now, Plankcore, that's a name no one would self-apply where I come from. But then, there was a lot about the JJ that didn't make a whole lot of sense to me. And a lot about where he lived, like- wise. But then again, maybe that's why I found the place s'durned innarestin'.
They call Edinburgh the City of easily attainable liguor. I didn't find it to be that exactly, but I'll allow as there are some nice folks there. 'Course, I can't say I seen London, and I never been to France, and I ain't never seen no queen in her damn undies as the fella says. But I'll tell you what, after seeing Edinburgh and thisahere story I'm about to unfold--wal, I guess I seen somethin' ever' bit as stupefyin' as ya'd see in any a those other places, and in English too, so I can die with a smile on my face without feelin' like the good Lord gypped me. Now this story I'm about to unfold took place back in the early nineties--just about the time of our conflict with Sad'm and the Eye-rackies. I only mention it 'cause some- times there's a man--I won't say a hee-ro, 'cause what's a hee-ro?--but sometimes there's a man. And I'm talkin' about the JJ here-- sometimes there's a man who, wal, he's the man for his time'n place, he fits right in there--and that's Plankcore, in Edinburgh, Scotland. ...and even if he's a lazy man, and JJ is certainly that--quite possibly the laziest man in the Jedi Academy. ...which would place him high in the runnin' for busiest worldwide--but sometimes there's a man. . . sometimes there's a man. I remember there were three routes you could fly, the hardest was against Wedge. 'Lots of twists and turns' as Luke put it. I think it's possible to shoot through it going full throttle, provided you make the right turns at exactly the right times.

Yeah, there is a v-wing, but it's used in the battle of calamari. And that third bonus mission was the T-16 race on Tatooine. Oh man, the nostalgia

Yeah, and the millenium falcon. I saw it standing in the hangar at the start of the game the first time I played. I wanted to use it and in the end I got the chance
Not to mention those bonus missions. What were they again? The Battle Of Hoth and the Death Star Trench Run... something tells me there's a third bonus mission too, but I don't remember. _______________ The name is Bond. James Bond. Yeah, me too, only I play the PC version. I actually managed to get it to run on XP, so I'm planning on going through it a few more times. But it's been a while, I got shot down over Gerrard V, crashed into the Jade Moon and failed to find the AT-AT factory in 'Imperial Construction Yards'.  _______________ The name is Bond. James Bond. I'm quite fine yea, keeping busy with my family, work, and so forth.
For some reason I felt like checking TJA website again for the first time in like months, and I found that post about you-know-who... I just felt the need to reply so I logged in, and started posting again. Guess that's how simple it is to get back into a place you have such good memories off. Good to see some of the old-rots like yourself are still around too .

Well for me, the holidays is tomorrow actually. But I get what you mean.
There is no way I would crush anyone at an RPG/MMO setup. I'm more of an action gamer. But yeah, if I do sign up, look for names like "DIJAS" or "SAJID{^CFC/SFC^}S>>>>" and all that good clan tag stuff. Yeah, I'm planted in the US, so that would run me around $200 total for the first year. Ah well, if not this year, you guys will eventually pull me into it. I've loved star wars since the first one came out, and that's the reason I found this site, but not that much. It looks reasonably fun, but ya'know.
Hoping that people start to play JA, I'll always be there to duel them. Which reminds me, all the servers have had no one on them as of late. Usually around 5-6 my time, a few people are on, but not anymore. I guess its just the attention to SW:TOR that's dragging people away. Yeah, for a few reasons.
If its anything like WoW, its highly addictive. I didn't feel that in what I've played of it, but that doesn't mean anything, but still, I cant afford to have a game occupy ALL my time. The costs for playing it are going to run high. I'm not sure I'm willing to dish out the dough for this just yet. Unless it turns out to be as good as they say it will or its f2p in some manner, I'll hold back. Lastly, it just doesn't seem THAT interesting to me. I know you all will be playing it, which is almost enough to get me to play it. I've seen the kind of community we have here, and it would be great to have it come back to life, but I'm not that in to MMO's. Sure, Galaxies was fun, but for how long? I know I'm lazy for asking, but any ideas as to how much it would run me to play for a year? _______________ Brother to Quill You don't understand.
