A way out west there was a fella, fella I want to tell you about, fella by the name of Michael Plank. At least, that was the handle his lovin' parents gave him, but he never had much use for it himself. This Plank, he called himself Plankcore. Now, Plankcore, that's a name no one would self-apply where I come from. But then, there was a lot about the JJ that didn't make a whole lot of sense to me. And a lot about where he lived, like- wise. But then again, maybe that's why I found the place s'durned innarestin'.
They call Edinburgh the City of easily attainable liguor. I didn't find it to be that exactly, but I'll allow as there are some nice folks there. 'Course, I can't say I seen London, and I never been to France, and I ain't never seen no queen in her damn undies as the fella says. But I'll tell you what, after seeing Edinburgh and thisahere story I'm about to unfold--wal, I guess I seen somethin' ever' bit as stupefyin' as ya'd see in any a those other places, and in English too, so I can die with a smile on my face without feelin' like the good Lord gypped me. Now this story I'm about to unfold took place back in the early nineties--just about the time of our conflict with Sad'm and the Eye-rackies. I only mention it 'cause some- times there's a man--I won't say a hee-ro, 'cause what's a hee-ro?--but sometimes there's a man. And I'm talkin' about the JJ here-- sometimes there's a man who, wal, he's the man for his time'n place, he fits right in there--and that's Plankcore, in Edinburgh, Scotland. ...and even if he's a lazy man, and JJ is certainly that--quite possibly the laziest man in the Jedi Academy. ...which would place him high in the runnin' for busiest worldwide--but sometimes there's a man. . . sometimes there's a man. Once I knew a man, his name was Plank. He had very little in the bank and He had done a stretch in the tank, and now He was on the loose...
He hopped a gangplank and he Drank and drank until he was tanked and full of booze.. I yanked him aside and planked him on the head until he gave me a blank lookin' stare.. Plank then yelled "I'm gunna' walk the plank!" He lept from the boat, and made a loud "PLANK" as he fell to that moat of blue. The last thought he thought was "What was Planck's constant?" as he sank into the briny deep.. Not much later Plank woke up, in his own bed. He wore nothing but a pair of dark socks and his old navy cap was on his head. He looked around and soon realized he had broken his bed, the planks had snapped (to Plank's Delight) While he was playing with his 'lil' plankie' the last night. Plank yelled "PLANK ME!" at the top of his lungs, and soon a fat asian woman was on his tounge; Now, I'm not sure but I heard she yelled "Me love you long time!" as Plank scrambled for his 'raincoat' Very Soon later, Plank's next door neighbor was banging on the wall (shaking the planks) and shouting "WILL YOU TWO SHUT THE <BLANK> UP?!" And thats how the man named "Plankcore" came to be. (to be sang in the style of Johnny Cash's 'A Boy Named Sue') _______________ It's a false hologram, it IS artificial... |
