i dont like cutting things as well.
i sometimes like to put lets say background on a persons image and then erase things that go over the image. either with hard eraser or eraser with lower capacity. that way this works as an additional way to blend. minimal brushing goes ok as well. also the whole blending thing. lets say after doing everything right u notice that it just doesnt look right. i mean to blend background with some character perfectly some things overlap each other atleast slighty. creating a totally new layer and copying (with that copy tool in photoshop, i cant remember what its called) parts of the image to that layer. and puttint that layer over the top of character. you can then just adjust everything again with already mentioned eraser (hard or with lower capacity) or blending. hmm... lol. oh and the hair doesnt need to be 100%... its just his hairstyles are... well.... Ami! First, I'd like to say thanks.
Second, I'd like to say that (unlikely as it may seem), I've seen just how awesome pirates are, and though I still hold ninjas very dear to my heart... I admit pirates are better. Third, I believe I forgot to tell you, (but I've told every other Mintaka I've had a chance to) that I'm (sadly) moving on from JKA . Essentially two things have lead to this. One, I had to reformat my computer. I had been ridiculously inactive for months before it happened, and when it came to it, I didn't really have the desire to reinstall JKA. The second reason for this is that I will soon be getting a Macbook as my own computer. So, even if I had any desire left after reformatting my PC, I'll be switching from Windows to a Apple, and as such my discs wouldn't work anyways . I'm sorry to say it, but it's been a great run, and I can honestly say that you and Pink definitely made some of my most enjoyable experiences with JKA. You rock, and I'll always see you as a family member and sister. I'll pop by the forums from time to time, and I'll be on MSN once in a while as well. If you happen to have AIM, add me (I believe my SN is listed on my profile), and I'll exchange my official not-JKA-email address with you in case you ever need to contact me, or just want to drop a friendly hello .
It's been LOADS of fun, to say the least. Take care, and plunder to your heart's content! I wish you all the best with your future, and I know one day you'll make one hell of an awesome doctor! Enjoy poking at people's brains when you get the chance  .
