If you want prices on renting a game server, check out www.deviantservers.com. The price I mentioned was for companies or corporations wanting to lease the lines to their offices or datacenters. |

OC-48 is 2.4Gpbs which is I think 240 MB/s. The server has a gigabit link to the backbone, the OC-48 line itself..direct connection. Doesn't go through any resellers so it's less hops. Just to give you an idea..an OC-3 line is around $5000 to setup and $5000 a month to maintain. That's a minimum price too. |
