Those of you who pay attention to such things have noticed that things have been a little tense around here lately, with some well-known people getting into a little trouble. I would just like to take a moment to remind people that, in order to be a member of the Jedi Academy, you must at all times treat others with respect. Those of you who do not will be punished. Also, the actions of the Council are done with reason, not, as some of you may be assuming, rashly. We actually are more lenient that a lot of you realize (some would say too lenient) and we allow a lot of people to get away with too much sometimes. Also, this is a reminder to those of you of you who have been previously banned and are back in on the "1.999 warnings" condition... we weren't kidding about that, and there isn't a time frame for that condition to go away. So remember to be nice at all time and respect the rules and RESPECT EACH OTHER (this goes for everyone as well) Remember, it's just a game that we all play to have fun.... ------------ UPDATE ---------------------------- I would like to announce that our Knight, Chicka has made herself a prominent member of this Academy, and as of today has achieved the rank of Jedi Instructor! You guys probably have never seen a member banned before. I have, nearly a year ago. I won't name him, you probably don't know him. I won't name who was there either, I 'll leave everyone anonymous, that way no1 will complain. The JAT at the time had received many complaints of a member who everyone knew. (well, at that time we were more of a community, cus every1 knew every1 else etc.) There was also a JIT there who helped because he also had authority. So the JAT and JIT called a meeting in the Matrix room (or DG room as it was also called back then) and they organised it VERY well. The member was given a fair trial and everyone had agreed this guy HAD to be banned. However this guy wanted a last stand. He picked a fight with the JIT, JAT and then attacked me. I was given permission to fight back, so I did I instantly used force protection, and the three of us clamed the situation down, without killing him (we blocked his exit) Ahh those were the days, I probably have some screenshots of then, maybe not though... ANYWAY my point is I have experienced first hand, the excellent use of authority by JAT's and JIT's. IF you do not know what a JIT is, you shouldn't panic. It's an old rank. Damn I wish it was then. I was on holiday when I was enjoying the academy most...... but it is different now..... please don't dwell on what I am saying, you probably don't know what I am talkin about.... P.S: WHY DID YOU CHANGE THE THREE PLATFORM ROOM?? THAT WAS THE BEST BUT NOW IT IS THE ONE PLATFORM ROOM!! AGGH!!  _______________ JK2 pwnz0rs JK3. |
