Our dutiful mod programmer cHoSeN oNe has cranked out an update to the Jedi Academy Mod. The most current version is now at 1.1. Here's some of the changes made:

Hi,
Great work on the new mod!!!!! I have a few questions. 1. Is there anyway to get the source code? If not is there another way to enable some of features that were removed, i.e. emotes in duels? I understand why you took them out but our clan leader wont upgrade unless he can use emotes in a duel. 2. My clan leader claims that the ban list can only be so long before it will cause the server to crash, sry I cant be more descriptive about that, is this a known bug or could he maybe need to set a var to increase the size of the(file,or mem allocated). 3. This is just my 2 cents about things to be added in the up coming revs, could amexplode actually explode someone, like u see pieces on the floor. This is probably a strech but multiple person duels, for 2vs1 or 2vs2 without others jumping in. I also hear there are programs to censor swearing, it would be really cool to integrate that, even if the .pk3 file is just added to the zip archive. I have trried every possible way to spawn a platoon of NPCs or even just ONE NPC
I would like to know how to spawn them please and the EXACT code to spawn a platoon of stormtroopers with lightsabers please then I will work it out for the rest from there
before you think I am stupid I have gave myself NPC spawn access

Update: After pulling my hair out all night trying to figure it the bug, it was just obvious. If you are running a NON-DEDICATED server and you want to use the map_restart command, you must put the vm folder inside the dummy.pk3. So...Continue with your downloads, the mod is is perfect working condition...ENJOY!!! _______________ Get busy living, or get busy dying. |

Rauc has found an interesting bug that I have seemed to miss...When running a non-dedicated server, map_restart will crash the game...This is caused by a memory leak..I cant find it right now, but stop all downloading/distributing the mod until I can get you guys a new build...it is safem however, if you are running a dedicated server...in the best interest that a broken version isnt kept...Thanks!

"new custom welcom message". hmm, CUSTOM welcome message? so WE can set a message that shows to everyone on the server if we connect, or what? "amhelp (...) helps client" whats that? admins can give somebody else adminpowers or what? how long do they last and what powers do they get (knight or trainer?) whats theese 4 new messagemodes?
is g_mblockthrow enbaled on the servers! do it! (haha, poor shannon)
