Quite a few students and trainers have been suggesting map modifications & a few have offered to make these modifications. Please post your comments on what you'd like added/changed to the map. Please try to keep it reasonable.

Okay guys, the next class will be taken on the map ffa_bespin... Make sure you have your bio's and character style down. If you don't have a bio, then send your bio to mdryden@canada.com.
I can't tell you the story yet, but you will have to be making up your own lines... It's like that Show "Who's Line is it anyway?"...

You should notice these comment remarks next to news posts. Yep, just like one of those "professional" sites out there you can leave comments on news. You can also leave comments on servers and soon on classes & users. Also notice the chat link on the left. We found a handy dandy IRC Java applet so you can chat with us direct from the web site! If you notice any problems with these new features send me an email please.

That's right, one (or a few) of you are sending me the Klez virus on a fairly regular basis. And since Klez is a sneaky bastard and changes the email it's from to disguise the host, I can't let you know you're infected individually. So here's a word of warning. If you have anti-virus software, make sure it's working and up to date. And if you don't, first of all why not? You never know when you might accidently open an infected file. So do yourself a favor and go here to make sure you don't have the virus, and then GET A FREAKING ANTI-VIRUS PROGRAM.

We've got a few new demos for your collective viewing pleasure. The first three are from Yun's RPG class where they attempted to recreate the Death Star rescue from ANH. It ain't oscar material, but it could be worse I guess. The 2nd take is much nicer.

Jedi Academy Map Final Version Available -doobie- Jun 26 09:57pm -0 comments-

The final version of the map is available for download here. It's about 1.5 megabytes, and is the absolute final version. So if you have any minor stuff you want or tweaks you wish (or even having Bespin on the other side of the broken doors , don't email me please. However if you have major problems with it, lemme know. The best thing you can do is delete the old jedi_academy.bsp from your gamedata/base folder (if you downloaded it), and install the new version after that.

Everyone knows about the DFA right? Well check this demo out, executed and invented by Phr00t[JAT] and Carnage... instant DFA. But don't worry, I have it from the man Phr00t himself that this move won't turn into an assfighter-esque "hated by everyone" move... it's just too hard!

Here's a pretty good picture sent to me by our resident trainer/camera man Sinister[JAT] (who had it sent to him by student Jagoff, aka J Chism). He demonstrated the ONLY acceptable form of grip-catching allowed on the server by gripping people up to the top and dropping them on the column! Check it out
