Real Life strikes again and takes Monty away from us. Monty retired today so I'd like you all to drop by his profile and give him a nice farewell message. Our JK3 certification process is going smoothly since Faded and LaMagra took over as LK and LT. We have 13 JAK+ certified already, more news when we have all of them ready  Expect a bunch of new JK3 classes.The new Science and Arts departments are going extremely slow. The response to my request for volunteer teachers was a bit lower then when I did it for the 1st time a couple of months ago. PLease take a peek at the thread if you are interested. We've been experimenting with alternative game modes such as Instangib, Hydrobal, etc. I've setted up our projects server to run the Asteroids mod. We will try to keep alternative game modes running on this server while we are not using it for our tests. Thats all for today. Carry on folks. PS: Happy B-Day Rauc |

Hey there, A new version of mIRC has been released. It solves some issues, and adds some support for new things, like SSL. Feel free to download it Just remember: If you use NNscript or some other script, you might want to stick with the old version untill your script supports it. Download sites Sweden Holland New York Russia Brasil Chile United Kingdom Texas Germany Bulgaria Singapore If you have NNScript you have to do a small quick fix because of a typo in 3.8, not sure if it is in the older versions also. 1) Close mIRC. 2) Go to your mIRC Directoy, then go to the folder scripts, and open the file nnscript.nns. 3) go to lines 7506-7511, where it should have the following code. if ($version != 6.12) { errdialog you need at least mIRC v6.03 to use this script. However, you only got $+(v,$version,.) Please get the latest version at http://www.mirc.com/! url -an http://www.mirc.com/get.html exit halt } replace that with: if ($version < 6.12) { errdialog you need at least mIRC v6.12 to use this script. Well folks, yet another of our Golden Members is leaving us. Here's what the Gent had to say: Time to hand over the purple lightsaber... Every jedi has a purpose. Mine was JK2 and to give, take and share as much as i possibly could through this game... I can't begin to tell how many great moments i have lived through since the JA came into this gamer's life, for they are too numerous to mention. Such are the friends and ally jedi i have met here. I remember October 2002 as it was yesterday and how excited i was to tell my friend LaMagra about it. He joined right after me  We were both very dedicated and in no time we served the Academy on a more significant basis. I'll never forget the day i became a Jedi Academy Knight! That was a whole new experience, for sure. So it happens that a new era has begun. A new time manifesting itself for the more recent generations of jedi as well as the older too. It is to this era that Nightcrawl2r needs to surrender. I pass on my lightsaber to whomever wants it... - Nighty Take good care of yourself Nighty, and good luck with whatever you choose to do in RL. We're gonna miss having you around here, so try and pop in on us from time to time. |

Hardwired and Fizz have completed the first public version of the new rules, which I have placed in the Academy Discussion forum until DJ can get the rules page updated. These rules are applicable immediately and will be updated if loopholes are found or rules are discovered that need to be in place. note by DJ: the new rules page is in place. |

This is a standard single elimination NF tournament. All matches are best of 5, and the semi finals and finals will be best of 7. If matches are not done by deadline, a coin flip will be used to determine winner. Should there be sufficient desire, a FF tournament will follow. I have made some fixes to the Map, you will all need to re-download it from here. The bug fixes are as follows:
I'm still working on more stuff. I intend to have perfect FPS in all areas soon. There are still one or two minor bugs left over. If you see any, please take screenshots and send them to me. In the meantime, have fun. |

By popular demand we've placed Raven's new Star Destroyer Siege Map on the siege server. This is one of those flight maps, so our apologies to the saber purists out there. It's a pretty fun lil' map. Enjoy! |

YAY! I'm pleased to announce that young Wolfwood is the first of a new batch of Jedi Knights to pass his Trial. Hehe, yeah, sorry guys. I guess Doobie was right - Virtue and FaDed really CAN do better. Truth is, we released Beta 3 as a Joke, we know it's awful. Hehe, therefore, we are proud to present you with the REAL Academy Map, get it here and come join the Servers. We're sorry for playing such a cruel joke, but alot of you had it coming. Still one or two minor bugs, but they'll be fixed later today. In the meantime, HAVE FUN!! |
