We are a community of over 6500 members. True, "only" 1000 members are active. Still, most of the time, #jedi-academy has only around 40 or 50 people in it. So, hereby i'd like to remind you guys that IRC is great fun  Sure, you can't duel in it, but talking can be great fun too. You can see JJ's Marvin Gaye imitation and Jacen Aratan being bashed, just for an example!  IRC is a great place to get to know people, and I think it is a shame that there is only a relatively low amount of people on it. If you dont know how to use mIRC, you can take a look at the guide in the holocron. Come on, don't be afraid, and give it a shot. We know you'll like it |

Those visiting the forums may notice that all threads are marked as new. That's an unfortunate side effect of the new code that determines "new" threads. For the time bieng you'll have to click on every forum thread you see to clear that. I'll work on a "mard all as read" link on the forums, but it'll take some time. Yep, it's that time again where I make bugfixes and throw them at you guys. Hehe. It's now on the Servers and can be found at the same link it was at before. But for those of you who are too lazy to go to the Servers page. Grab it Here. So yeah, you know the drill. Test it out, have fun and give me feedback. A reminder that our server passwords have been changed tonight (by someone with bad taste at that). These were changed due to some security issues which are now resolved. You'll be hearing some more from me in the future on rules and things such as this so stay tuned. But for now a reminder on one thing. I have been seeing a lot of profanity and some other inappropriate language in the forums. Please remember that we have a very wide range of ages here. Everyone knows that you know all the dirty little words out there and you don't need to prove it in every other post made. You can all go about your business. Move along, move along. |

That's right SmilyKrazy Will be running a JK3 Saber tournament this April. Here's what she had to say herself: "Hello all!!! Well this is it. The first jk3 saber tournament! I hope you all will enjoy this. Ok the first 32 people to sign up here will participate in the tournament. This is for STUDENTS only since the admin is having their own tournament. Just simply post "sign me up". If for some reason we dont get enough students then I may include admin. This will be strictly a saber tournament to see who the best student saberist is. There will be a prize to the winner. I will discuss that with the winner. The duels will be best 3 of 5 to start and best 4 of 7 for the semi finals and finals. So thats it for now. Sign up and when I get 32 students I will ramdonly draw the brackets out of a hat as I did for my tournament last August. Good luck to all. Everyone please have fun with this."
