it sounds like a really good idea. especially if it was something that came to peoples emails. but it would take a ton of time, and you would have to have a whole gang of people to write for it. the trick is to make a really cool and pretty website, that will make people want to sign up. then you have to convince them to do all the hard work(the writing). then you can just sit back and put it all together and mail it out. simple. maybe a good idea would be to have a cartoon. people like cartoons, i know i do. a funny one about life here at the JA. i think that would sell. ok this post has exceeded my maximum alotted characters for 1 post limit |

Umm, just a thought... How about doing it newsletter-style? I mean doing it subscribable. Or is it the original idea? If so, sorry.Moreover, if it's an email-like thing, you could change it to be published every two weeks. Sounds nice as a whole, but a lot of things you mention are already covered. We've got the Main Page for the News, there is a section on the right side that shows the Newest Members, the Holocron covers hints and tips, we've got a Rules page, and we've got Staff writing articles about pretty much everything, including good downloads. I don't want to bash your idea or anything, because it sounds nice, just pointing out that quite a few of the points you mention are already covered. |
