After having participated in the TiT run by Roan this year, I felt that the JAK+ missed out on the fun. Why not have a tournament similar to the TiT for them along with our staff? Thus, I started planning this tournament out. I got seed numbers for those interested from my random number generator on my calculator. Then, I made a tournament bracket and made the rules. For the tournament bracket: JAK+ Tournament Round details: 3 NF 2 FF Server order procedure: 1. Coin Toss 2. Winner of toss gets to have 1 NF and 1 FF on their server of choice. 3. Next NF and FF on the other's server. 4. If tied, coin toss for last NF duel. Start each FF with 100/100. Make an effort to duel on a server with the default force regen (200). Have a referee just to look  Demos of matches would be nice! I'm not going to set a certain date that the first match should be done by unless it gets to the point that we are waiting solely on one match to continue on with the tourney. Finals - 4 NF 3 FF I would love for these matches to gather a large student audience. They are just plain awesome, even the first round! So, if the participants are willing to, it would be nice for them to state suggested times they will have their matches in order that students may view these epic battles  Results will be posted in this thread in the following format: Winner 5 Loser 0 Referee: Neutral Link to demo or name of person who has it. Leif and I will be dueling sometime this weekend. Leif, remember this from 2004? I found this the other day...cracked me up! Janus vs Leif 2004 There was this Tourney back in 2004 (had to be 2004, wasn't last year, I remember that far back at least  ) that the clan FOTF (are they still around?) hosted. It had a few different clans come in, and at the time, the JAA was invited. Leif took the one bracket, I made it through the other, and we fought at the end for the #1 spot with Leif edging me out 10-9 (first to 10 wins). Awesome duels, great bit of nostalgia. I think it was just cool that the Aurochs swept the tourney . *edit* During the Tourney, we weren't allowed to fight our own team (until the end), that's why the brackets get all funky towards the end....*end edit* Back in the day, notice who else was part of the JAA that participated! Definitely Old School, but not like 5 years ago Old School, it's more Mid School.... _______________ Be honorable, be friendly, be trustworthy. Show respect to all whom you meet.
