it might not be a sad day for SOME people, but for me its a pretty sad day. for those of you who dont know jacen aratan too well, he's not all of what he has been made out to look like. he is a person that believes greatly in what he deems right and has the guts to back it up without worry of consequences. I mean really, no good deed goes unpunished. He was the first face i saw at the ja and he helped me set myself up at the ja without looking down on me one iota. I was the worst ja n00b the ja has ever seen, jacen didnt care, he took me under his wing and taught me all he could and found the right people to talk to when he didnt know something. he was a fantastic friend, mentor, and teacher. not to mention deadly with guns (ctf) he was always there for me, i know he still is there for me but there are alot of people who are gonna miss out on "jacen style" ja. there are some who have trouble accepting people for who they are, i can understand this, its the other things these people do i dont understand. im not gonna point fingers, but to those of you who know who you are, know that you probably will never get the chance to clank beer mugs with MO cuz i dont hang with people who "hide" jacen i dont agree with the premice you left under but i salute the balls it took to make that post and express yourself your way. I speak for me and the ts crew when i say "OMFGH4X JACEN, YOU TOTALLY PWN AND WILL ALWAYS PWN!" for those of you who didnt get to meet jacen and just hang out with him you have my sympathy. jacen aratan, MO will miss you alot brother, know that well. Y'know, things would be great if two things happened: 1) People treated everybody as a friend. 2) People lightened the hell up. That's how it used to be in the Golden Age. None of this insane internet drama crap. If you don't like how things are, then go away. Seriously. Nobody's forcing you to stay here, and there are tons of other servers to check out. Go join a clan. Meet new people, get private server passes, whatever. It's not that hard if you have even basic networking skills. But some people are just too damned complacent to take things into their own hands, so all they want to do is sit around and go "wah wah wah  " and expect other people to fix it.How about you fix it your own damned self and take some responsibility. Jacen Aratan, is one of the most decent people Ive seen come through this academy. You new guys who have been here a few months have no right to critise or slander him, a great deal over half of the people posting here about him probably havnt ever seen or spoke to him. He was an excellent Knight and maintained those standards as a Trainer. I dont know why he has been banned, and I dont care either. Wow ok so yeah I didnt bother reading any of the other posts on this thread. WAAAAYY to many to go through and im sure without reading them that some are pretty unpleasant. I just wanted to say to Jace that I wish him nothing but the best in his life and I will keep in touch with him. I have known Jace since the jk2 days and he was one of my greatest friends then and always will be. He was always very very helpful on the servers, never even giving a second thought to helping people if they needed it. Not to mention he made the game of JK so much more fun. El Vee, with all the respect in the world mate, it looks to me like you're arguing for the sake of arguing here. Either that, or you're making an arguement based on things that are silly. Buzz's job isn't to be a big teddybear and love you all. His job here is to keep the rule breakers out. In my opinion, when somebody breaks the rules (which they agree not to when they join the JA) they waiver any right to civility. They get treated like a jackass because they've acted like a jackass. I think that's fair. We should be thankful that some guys and gals enough here are so forgiving. Also, the JA is a clan? Yeah, and i'm from the Congo! The military has ranks and a dictatorship-like command structure, but that's not a clan. Chances are, most gaming news websites and mod teams have a dictatorship-like command structure and they're not clans, are they? The JA does not do competitive gaming, therefor is not a clan. Like I said before, you shouldn't act like you know so much about the Academy when you clearly haven't been here long enough to learn about it. Also, if you're not satisfied with the way things work here, nobody's forcing you to stay. Stop trying to change it to suit YOU, when the majority seem fairly happy. I'm done. Have fun, children! |

Even if you're not interested in the game anymore, it can still be a great community to be in. El vee i sympathise with your situation being in a timezone where classes arnt available but i asure you that the ja's internal processes are very efficient being a student of business opperations managment myself. Currently i take responsibility for the reduced ranks going through the system because of the inability to be ingame from uni untill later next week. As for your dislike of some of our staff, unfortunatly this isnt the place to voice your dislike for members of the JA, if you have an issue with staff please email the JAC, or another ranked member with your concern and we will look into it further. Nothing was ever achived through witch hunts Please remember that we all work voluntarily and like yourself have RL's too. We do out best to provide a fun and diverse enviroment to best facilitate everyones needs. As for adding to the game and community im aware of several small projects currently being worked on within the JA with some to be announced shortly. It saddens me to see that you are unhappy with the service we provide and can only appoligise. However with that said i must ask you to give some of the staff some credit for the for they do. Ive worked with the new ranked staff over the last few months and have seen nothing but outstanding work from them, honestly im vry proud of them and couldnt have asked for any better....great work guys. Ahh this is getting a little to heated guys although all your oppinions are all valid id like to request that we take it down a couple notches. Mr El vee i see there are several things you feel should be improved and although all suggestions are welcome i must say it appears you have a couple gaps in understanding as to how the current academy runs perhaps through no fault of your own. Please add me to msn and id be more than happy to discuss any suggestions you have as well as fill in any gaps. Lets stop pointing fingers guys and start working together here. As for more knights and trainers this has popped up a couple times in casual conversation and id just like to assure you that we will be seeing plenty of new ranked members soon....we asked you to be patient and i promise you wont be dissapointed.
