I'm not against it, but i'm not with the idea either. There are plenty of graphics based forums out there. Anyway, it's all up to what DJ wants in the end, because this is his site.  _______________ You are not your f***ing system specs. Ive read this thread through, and everyone seems to be talking about image hosting.... He means a graphics FORUM. Example I, for one would think it's a good idea. Also, with the [img] code, i think we should get that too....you say images would take ages to load, but every other forum does it...and it doesnt take THAT long to load...if people have sensible size sigs. _______________ OC is my girlfriend and i wub her  Kitmitsu is my best fwend.

imagine the 'count' or 'whoha' thread. all of ppl who posted have some pics in their signatures. dunno exact number but thats like 30-40 ppl in total. 30-40 ppl x size of teh signatures = uber long load times + lots of complains from members. besides whats the point of these pointless 'lookin nice' gfxes? ahh and one last thing - i dont know about others but i dont want loads of these threads : 'how do you make a sig' 'where do you upload images' 'how do you get pics in to your sig' ' show ur works here' etc etc etc... i know first thing i told wasnt quite in topic but what about second and third ? pointless. we have crazy forums anyway... _______________ playing jk3 since 30th of january (2005), member since 1st of february. Well there's a slight probelem... There's no [img] tag on these forums. Think about that? Well if people had free reign to post whenever they wanted to, there would be ALOT of clutter. You can upload such things to http://www.imageshack.us. If you want a discussion about it, depending on what it is, post in the forum it's most related to. If it's not related to any of the catagories, try General Discussion or the Crazy Forum, depending on what it is. |
