| Chronicles of Jun Tao, Vol 3, Chapter 1: Training at the Academy (The first week) | |

------------------------------------- [i] As a storm of great magnitude echoed around the Chamber of the Council, Jun ran through what seemed like miles of corridor....eventually though, he found what he was looking for. "So....after betraying me, you return, for what purpose?" "My purpose is to put right what has been made wrong", Jun spoke with determination unrivalled. "FOOL! There is no place in this galaxy for one such as yourself, you have so much power within you, yet you are lost to your own heart. I will not give you a chance to redeem yourself, what's done is done, and now......you will die......" [/i] ...... Jun awoke to a new day in the Academy, his own mind tormented him still with events long passed. Taking his newly crafted saber Jun was ready to train. Jun had found already that he felt he belonged in the Academy. With his terrible history now behind him, he felt eager to train with the many skilled Jedis there. The second day brought sunshine to the gardens of the Academy, Jun had never felt so detached from the Dark Side, somthing he once thought was an impossibility. After meeting a few members of the Academy training began and duel after duel, Jun began to realise the incredible transcendental connection he now had with the force, life wasn't a continuous struggle or war anymore. A particular test composed by Virtue was to train one's reactions and dexterity, duelling in one of the dojos that had been scattered with trip mines. Jun had found a way to 'remove' himself from all natural perception, within the void of his mind where the Dark Side once resided Jun found peace and serenity. The rage that was set in the staff Saber he once wielded was no longer an essential component of his existence in order to fight...no, live, living was now more important than fighting; through life, knowledge and emotions are exchanged and this now held more sentiment than the Darkness of his past. To Jun, fighting became a dance, a ritual through which he centered the force, and became one with it. He knew though, there was no room for complacency, he had much more to learn. At the end of that day, Jun smiled for the first time since he was probably 5 years old. But he did not do it conciously, there was still a part of him he not yet regained, an empty space yet to be filled.... _______________ The Tao blood will never die...and it will run through every age of Time there is to come.
