Jun Tao - Student  |
Hi all, i'm very new to the Academy and don't know anyone but i have been playing JKA for a very long time and am used to RP'ing,so.... ---------------------------------------------- A long and tiresome journey brought Jun Tao to the Jedi Academy. His master, Ramirez, lost to the Dark side was now just a distant memory. Jun had been here before, Ramirez trained here as did his master, and his master before that. Jun had always been fully aware of the darkness within him, there ahd been incidents where he had given in, but today was to see a new revelation. There was a door...a door he had seen many times, a door he had not been through. Entering the main hall of the Academy he walked towards it. Ramirez had told him of this door: "When all other lights go out, the one that remains is in your heart, not your saber or your rage can overcome it". Strange words spoken by a Dark Jedi, but Jun Tao sought retribution and a new path towards destroying the Darkness that had b een corrupting his heart. Jun walked through the door, into a sight that could have almost been a revelation. The waterfall was small but beautiful, and across the stream he saw what he was looking for. Arkin had told Ramirez about this place and in turn Ramirez made sure Jun knew the importance of where he stood. Ramirez however was a fool, thought Jun, he avoided this place through fear...Adam should have killed him when he got the chance, but then those are the thoughts of a Dark Jedi. Repent. Jun stood in front of Vladarion's grave and recalled the tragic story. A year ago he woudl have felt ashamed to be here, ashamed with himself, 2 years ago he would have laughed. For a brief moment he felt despair, for himself. "Why are you so selfish Jun? Not only have you brought a shroud upon the Tao family, the Nabeshima will never let you get back home". Despair is for the weakened, not the weak, and now it was time to do what was right, what should never have needed to be done, but it is essential for the continuation of the Light. Removing the glowing red crystal from his saber, with all his might Jun smashed it onto the floor, watched as the shards burnt away with the searing rage of the Dark Side. Kneeling in front of the grave Jun gave his heart to the light and placed his saber hilt into the flames above it. As he did so a ghostly figure appeared next to him. "Daimyo?...." Jun could not believe what he was seeing. But then he was enlightened with the realisation that the Elders of the Nabeshima had always watched over him. He felt it drain from within...the corruption..the rage, he had been lost, but now he was found. The figure dissappeard. Jun bowed to Vladarion's grave. No longer was he torn apart by his evil deeds and failures. It had been a long journey, from the moment he first picked up his saber, until the moment he had just destroyed it. But it was not over, he knew with this inspiration that he could live a better life and aid the Jedi's in their struggle against the Dark Side. He left the garden, and went in search of the Academy Leader... _______________ The Tao blood will never die...and it will run through every age of Time there is to come.
