How about being defensive/offensive, agrresive/passive?? How often do u fake, for exampel? Why? What other tricks and stuff do u use in duels? yeah, Im after some hardcore intelligence  EDIT: Which is why I think I shud start : Im more of a defensive than an offensive player, just because I suck at being offensive/agrresive. I (try) not 2 fake much, just because it makes my fakes more believable I think. If I would swing 100 times, and 1 is a real attack, the chances Im attacking as soonas I swing is 1/100. If 1 out of 2 sdwings are attacks, the chance is 1/2. So if my opponent needs 2 guess wether Im attacking or not, faking at a low frequency is what I do to make my fakes more believable. I know... faking/attacking isnt done randomly, but the theory is still true. I think ^^_______________ The name is Bond. James Bond. When i WAS playing JK:O (that was long ago and i was n00b) i was playing only with red ^^ cuz i didnt know how to fight with others... RDFA was easier to do and to hit enemy. And also JK:O had 'special thing, feeling' that is hard to describe... JA (the game) dont have it My style (was): Right swing, RDFA left swing, RDFA, right swing....... |

Should i simply stand well away and perform a Kata, YDFA, etc? go and practise your lunges! alright, if you show me how to pull a kataa in jk2, Im astounded ok, seriously now. experienced duelists will tell you not to do specials. as every other experienced duelist knows a devestating counter. now if you say you are experienced and dont know zag-shit about countering, then you arent experienced. period. but, sometimes pple slip off keys or whatever, and hell, they happen to do a rdfa. and an off one, too. so ppl just happily run into them from behind, or the sides only to find them selves kick-dfa'd. (takes some practise though) so you see, the action is to lure the enemy into placing a counter, blindly. the trick here is to know the right distance and speed of the opponent, to avoid unneccesary risks. with the ydfa, the opposite is the case, since it cant be countered, when very close. also, a DFA isnt considered "bad" or "lucky" if it kills. thats the point of a DFA anyway, to be a killer-move there are also very wicked moves like the walking ydfa, or instant-rdfa, but I wouldnt count on these too much. they are just fun to pull once in a while _______________ One of the Belouve boys, founder of the mighty FiZZsters Midbie council #20 - Fizz - #1933 - Jan '03 - Aug '04 "Renfield, you idiot!" |
