Thank you. I s'pose I'll be joining you in about 10 days.
I'm quite new to Jedi Knight (means: I've played Jedi Outcast for about 3 years ago, but decided to play it at a LAN 4 days ago, and then discovered that there was a JK3). I'm quite a bit busy right now, with school and family stuff at the moment, so I decided to order JK3, so it'll get to me in about 10 days (I know I can't stop playing it, if it'll come earlier). A bit 'bout myself perhaps, wouldn't be too innappropriate, perhaps. Anyway, I'll just introduce myself, somehow, right here. I'm a 16 year old male from Denmark (as you can perhaps read in the profile info). I've been a Tolkien fanatic since I was 9 years old, it has nothing to do with Star Wars, though. Well, I actually was a Star Wars fan before that (app. 1 year before) and I remember watching episode IV, V and VI with my father. OK, enough about the past. As I said, I've been quite a Tolkien fanatic and has so, joined in quite a few roleplays, communities and that kind of sorts. I've tried to keep my interest for Star Wars alive, though I've been quite obsessed by Middle-Earth, but when I finally hit Jedi Knight a few days ago (and with my disappointment of LotRO (Lord of the Rings Online)), I decided to give this game a try (and I hope it will be worth it). I'm a practitioner of Parkour (also known as a traceur), and have been practising the art the last 2.5 year. And I just thought of a quite fun connection there, as the dicipline of the Jedi's bear some semblance to what people would define as "pure" Parkour. The strength, the mind-control and the body limits, perhaps I'm just going in circles now. So, one of the things that catch me about this game, is the fact that it's (like Counter Strike, Half-Life, Unreal Tournament) not based on a character with certain skills, but on yourself (I haven't played those types of games for a long time), and if it wasn't because I don't enjoy the concept of CS, don't see the point of playing Half-Life or UT, being too bored to try any other type of game, I would probably not be trying out JK3. Can't really think of anything else to write. Oh, and I go by the name of Don S elsewhere, where the S abbreviation could be either Sakse (my real name), Seriadaco (a name of one of my Tolkien roleplay characters (hobbit)), Sertimene (a name that's stuck to my mind for some time now) or for that case, any other of my aliases, random names and characters.
