Not exactly ;)

Feanor, one of the greatest Elves ever, managed to catch the light of the Trees of the Valar in the Silmarils, 3 jewels. After Melkor and Ungoliant destroyed the trees, the only light left of them was in these Silmarilli, that's why they're so valuable, that's why Melkor stole them, and that's why a large part of the Noldor went into exile to get them back.

Hehe... yeah, I figured if you can change yours I can change mine too! LOL

Didn't miss much in the duals class, exar didin't show up. Faded and Leif came about 30 mins into it and took up the class in Exar's absence. They did a good job but I think I'm going to cancel my advanced duals until I can take the first class with Exar cause I think he covers more. Anyway, sorry I missed you. later dude!

I haven't read all of them but I like the Silmarillion books, although the Narn i hin Hurin and the Nirnaeth Arnoediad are very sad tragedies.

I also like LOTR III a lot, because of it being the conclusion of the trilogy, and you catch a glimp of both the glory of the past and the future.

No, they were not elves. Above all Valar, and Maiar, is Eru Illuvatar, THE god. He let the ainur shape the world to a vision he showed them. They made their own races and added things to the world. But Eru himself made two races, and those should be the first to awaken. The Elves and the Men.

Bombadil was not just a hobbit. He was clearly a Maia, and a great one, one who could be very usefull in the alliance against Sauron, provided he'd care for the world outside the Old Forest and leave it, which he never did.

The spirits, or Ainur are divided in two groups :

1. Valar, the twelve mightiest ainur.
2. Maiar, the rest

Morgoth (Melkor) was a Valar, Sauron, Gandalf and Tom Bombadil were maiar. Morgoth was more powerful, he was the mightiest of the Valar, and the only evil one. He became the enemy of the Valar, made war on them and twisted their races in creatures of darkness like orcs and trolls. And of course the Dragons and the Balrogs. Gandalf has dificulties in his human form with one balrog, morgoth made 20 and commanded them.
Although Sauron was his second hand and is not to be underestimated, Morgoth was far more powerfull.

Yeah, they lived ridiculously long. He descends from the Numenoreans, called after the Island Numenor, given to the people who fought together with the elves against Morgoth. Elrond and Elros, brothers, were the sons of Earendil, who convinced the Valar, the gods, to destroy Morgoth. Since Earendil was a half elf, his sons had to choose: man or elf. Elrond chose elf, Elros chose man. He became the first king of the Numenoreans and although his race lived longer than before, (700 years, but this age was shortened every century)he ultimately died. It is this man, that Aragorn descends from.

Aragorn was born on March 1st, in the 2931st year of the Third Age. When the Fellowship of the Ring begins, in 3018, he is already 87 years old. Aragorn died on his birthday in 1541, shire reckoning. That is in 3141, or 120 of the Fourth Age, at the age of 210. He has been King for 122 years when he passes away.

Well, you're right, the single saber is more diversive, you've got three stances, blue, yellow and red, and with the staff you only have two, which both have fruit-names, but I forgot them, for the moment, I'll ask my master later;)

I'm willing to teach you about those two, because my knowledge of dual isn't all that big;)

What timezone are you in?
