Howdy Billy,
Forgive my slow responce. Yes to all the above. I named my daughter after a Dead tune, so I guess you could say I'm a Deah head. My favorite vinatge being 1977. I don't think I could recomend much you haven't heard. We seem to have the same musical taste. I can tell you some of my of my current favorites besides MMW,and Flecktones. String Cheese Incident, Widespread Panic, Gov' Mule, Allman Bros., Maceo Parker, Lake Trout, JGB(man I miss Jerry), Stir Fried, Jazz Mandolin Project, David Grisman Quartet, Phill and Friends...this list is pretty nigh endless. For the most part anything Jazz, Blues, Bluegrass, or any thing influenced by any of these is good in my book. Unless it sucks. 
I don't know if there's any thing there that you haven't heard of but they are all good in my opinion. If there is any thing new to you be sure to check them out, I'm think you'll like most of them. :arcuss: This comment was edited by Arcuss on Feb 25 2003 04:40pm. |

well i used to live in Broklen but then i moved to NJ i only play ICE I need some new geer a new all so i can't play roller i over heat the last game i played i have a ice cold rag on my it was hot steming in 3 seck so i wont play  it burns
soo i took so long to respond i needed to spend some time with my girl friend be for she left for some place she said she could not tell me she probley dose not want me to call long distance how nice   |

Hey Billy,
No problem, you know I didn't really ehlp very much I think, bt that's why I want to help in class and whatnot, so I can learn to teach better and everything so I can have a better chance at being a good JAT someday. I realized it's really hard to watch everyone, lol. Even harder to try to explain to three people at once when they're all doing different things. You did fine though, I'm prety sure it was just the timing. I sometime have trouble timing red combos as well (ESPECIALLY when walking) Glad you got it down

Howdy Billy!!!
Actually that was one move I was showing you. It's the kick dfa. I had you do the flipping dfa to get you used to the timing. It's easier to learn combo moves when you break them down like that. You don't have to worry about that one until you reach the Jman trial. Seeing as you learned most of the moves required for the learners test the very first time we met, I figured I'd start you on the move advanced skills. If you like the next time we meet in the server I'll get you started on the combos,which is another Jman requirement. You are more than ready for the learners trial at this point. Just keep on practicing the basics and you'll breeze right through. As far as the yellow dfa, don't worry to much about it you'll be allowed to repeat it if you don't get it on the first try. I'll be watching the trials roster for your eligibility. I'd be honored if you'd have me perform the trial. I know you'll do well. You lucky dog, I was a little overwhelmed with the whole Knight deal so I totally forgot about the concert. I'm glad you liked them they are one of my favorite live jam bands. uhm, there's a funny story, nevertheless. Bela Fleck and the Flecktones are a favorite in the Arcuss household. I go to every show I can make it to. My 2 year old daughter knows the outbound cd by heart, and walks around singing the notes to most of the tunes. This year will be her first time seeing them live. I can't wait to see the smile on her face. :arcuss: |
