The AMD64 chips are great, and I would really recommend that to anyone high-end, as it will have built in security features, and also runs REALLY COOL (erm, like 72 F under full load.) Intel will make one that just sucks, doesn't have some of the security features built in, and will run hotter than hell (hence why Intel is pushing the new BTX cases, since they need to redesign the entire damn case in order to make sure their chips don't melt.) As for the price premium, go with it. I won't comment on price, because I work in a tech shop and a retailer. I got the board/chip for around $300, and the setup was free, since, er, I work there. Later, through an AMD deal (since I'm a reseller), I got another better board and a better chip for even less. So I have a spare board and chip. As for boards, avoid the Gigabyte. We've sent over half of them back for RMA. The good ones that have given me no problems are the ASUS K8V SE Deluxe. Definately worth the little bit extra, as I had pretty much a flawless install, and no hiccups. Or, wait for PCI Express to be built on the boards in a few months. I would go that route, as you really seem like a game (no, really?). Hope that all helps. _______________ Jedi do not fight for peace. Actually, in the cartoon series, the astronaut is the reason Venom comes to be. As you probably already know, Spiderman gets the black costume at teh end of the secret wars. He freaks out when it starts feeding off his emotions, making his anger greater, etc, so he gets rid of it via a bell tower. (I think it's one of the worst decisions ever. That costume rocked) Anyway, rather than put all that in thes show, they had JJ bring it back from the moon accidentally. SOOOO, simply edit out Eddie Brock (which is a shame, cause i love eddie, and his eventual hero-dom) and make the astronaut Venom. He would have just as much reason to hate peter, since he stole MJ, and the symbiote hates him, cause of the rejection. Perfect!  but unlikely. I also want MJ to die soon, cause Kirsten doesn't want to make any more movies, and she just gets in the way. Black Cat is waayyyyy hotter anyway. So, that's what the third movie should be. Spidey should kill Green Goblin in like, the opening scene, and then get the black costume.
