Sorry ioshee I'm still having problems running the game. I think my GFX card is too weak. I started shooting at a beast then my screnn locked up and when it unfrooze I was dead  I'm going to hold off until I finish my new system in a few weeks before I even try again. By then you should be making really good stuff for me to capitalize with  See ya then. take care |

Someone is confusing me about Star Wars: Galaxies. He says that there are servers and planets, but he refers to Bria, Radiant, and the others as planets. Uh..aren't Tatooine, Naboo, and the rest planets? I play on Bria at Corellia. I don't know what's up with all this server business. There was a list on the old SWG site that said where the servers are that can't seem to find it on the new site. At any rate I think I will check out the galaxy you are in Monday. I'll only be able to play around 7-11pm EST on the weekdays. I had to shell out some cash to upgrade my memory just to play this so I hope it's worth the money. I'm building a new system as well so soon I won't have to be playing catch up whenever I buy a new game. I'm auctioning off a near mint 1996 Alverez Yairi WY-1 Virtuoso acoustic/electric guitar to fund my new system. I'm glad to hear I was informative enough. Like always, people complain about the price. People will always complain about paying ANYTHING to play. It's about $12 a month if you pay by credit card. It's closer to $15 a month if you pay by one of their many other ways. I don't know why the jump in price, but that's the way it is. The other methods include chashiers check, paypal, and...the many others that I forgot. Sorry I didn't mention that in my review. I hope that covers everything. I hope you're interested enough to play it. I easily mad some great friends on there; though I have yet to figure out how, . Ragnarok is one of the best MMORPGs I've ever played.Don't I sound like someone actually writing a review? lol. _______________ Wanna know what my name means? I'll give you a lowdown on Ragnarok Online (iRO). Yes, it's very fun. It barely has any bugs AT ALL. You have a decent amount of choices of profession. If I remember them correctly, they are: novice (the starting profession), swordsman, acolyte, mage, archer, merchant, thief. You can advance to higher classes once you train enough. Knight (swordsman), Priest (acolyte), Wizard (mage), Hunter (archer), Blacksmith (merchant), Assassin (thief). It's very anime-style and has almost a comic cartoon look at times. As for character customization... When I was playing the beta, all I could do was customize hair when I made the character. That's because of the small characters. You can't do very much. That's ok, though. Each profession has it's own set of clothing; even the advanced professions. The only thing you can buy that makes a visual change is something you put on your head. I won't exactly say "a hat" because there are more than hats. For the weapons, there's not much of a visual change. Daggers are shorter than swords, but a long sword looks the same as a katana. Maces look like maces, bows look like bows, etc. I didn't find too many things about the game that I didn't like. One thing that I REALLY liked were the rules. I'm not much of a rule person, but I was happy that the rules were strict. The rules are enforced just enough so people don't have to worry all the time, but people are afraid to break the rules. Most of them are about decency and being nice. This makes for a very relaxing online RPG. Language is pretty much outlawed. There are too many reasons I miss the game (I can't afford to continue). How-dee Dood, Well I did finally get past registration,and created my character. Unfortunately after I played through the tutorial it was all downhill from there. It's seems that when they say 256mb RAM required they mean 256 not 128. I'm shopping for a memory upgrade now and should have it by the middle of next week. From what I was able see it looks like it will be a really cool game. I think the people you meet and play with will be the factor that makes or breaks the game.
