The reason I wrote the comment on Jacen Aratan's profile is that the 4th paragraph of his post offended me, particularly where he called academy members "retarded f*cks" as I think it did a few people here. The people have met at the academy are the nicest and most friendly people in general that I've ever seen in any online community. Of course I respect your opinion on things but it is your calling me hypocritical and sympathetic to terrorists that obliges me to rectify the way you think I am. Of course I can't know if you're serious or just playing with me since you wrote that confusing gullible-part but I'll take my chances. With black-and-white thinking I mean the dangerously developing trend to see the world in black and white, in 'them' against 'us' as Cuzza put it, without really knowing who 'they' and 'us' really are. Saying that the entire Islamic World desires the destruction of the West, and that everyone in the Middle East is a terrorist is black-and-white thinking. I'm afraid of this tunnelview. One should always be aware of the fact that there are multiple sides to things and nuances. I can judge anyone's actions. And of course, and I'm appaled that you had any doubt about that, I gravely condemn those of the terrorists. Furthermore, it's not so much as being on the same level as the terrorists, as you put it, but forsaking the Western ideals of international justice and human rights that is important. For me, wanting to kill innocent people because they will become terrorists is on the same level as the terrorists are. Of course, the US aren't exactly a guardian of human rights.
