I really like that private duel area, that wood on the walls gives it a nice feel. But I'm not so sure about the wood on the ceiling. |

... *!*BOOM*!* Ouch. Nice looking room there Rin . Minor complaints/suggestions: The lighting looks a wee (Wii! Heheh ) dead to me. The textures are rather redundant, I would suggest giving that big thing in the middle a dif texture than the walls. Speaking of which, what exactly is that big thing? |

The face of the plaque itself uses a texture called "vlad.jpg", that has the writing on it and everything, "vlad_seamless.jpg" is the texture that was meant to cover the rest of the plaque, it's the same texture, just without the writing.
But then I decided it'd look better if I set the plaque block into the stone like it is now and had no real use for the vlad_seamless texture, so I never finished the shader for it. If you really need it for your map though, I can make you a new shader for it. - Virtue.  _______________ Academy Architect |

As you'll probably know, the "seamless" texture is only used once in the_academy_v2, and that's on the top of the plaque, the greenish one is Vladarion's plaque itself, which is still transparent and looks like you have it there.
Here's a trick though, put a small, green light inside it and it'll cast through the texture, making it an emerald colour.

Hey man.
Glad to see that someone else is puicking up the maping tools and cracking into the world of mapping! Sure you can use the textures, be my guest. Although the academy lightwall texture comes defaulted with the game (I didn't realise at the time of building the map). But yeah, use what you need to. Good luck!
