Yeah Ashyr, Virtue didn't see any reason to make the fps in the memorial perfect, due to the fact that nobody will be fighting in there, mainly just looking. And as for the cerimonial hall, it's not as wide, but it's longer. So still plenty of room to teach classes. _______________ - Proud padawan of Kueller. - We really are at the beginning of it all. Well, I have one fairly negative thing to say, and loads of positive things. Here it goes: Bad thing: I don't know if I was the only one that noticed, but the fps in Valad's memorial wasn't too hot. However, no one is going to be fighting in there so it doesn't really matter that much. Good things: 1. First, I'd like to say, awesome, purely amazing. And w00t! 2. The fps is Godly compared to pretty much any other JK3 map. I never felt drops entering rooms, except the memorial, but that's not really a problem. 3. The fort. Wow. 150% improvement. WAY better fps, really cool layout, destroyable things  , and cool little secret holes and items, ect. The fort is really allot more fun to play in now, thanks Virt for renuing my faith and intrest in guns.4. The bots. Great aswell. They are allot more difficult when it comes to saber combat, which is a good thing. Better training . Congratulations on all the coding, and voices, and whoever else helped make them possible.5. The matricies. Cool new layout. It's different, so some people will have to get used to it, but like it. The observation decks are more secluded so it's more an observation deck than a health run . The benches are cool, it brings back JK2 memories. And they make it less cluttered. And the matricies now have colors, so we can identify them better , always a cool addition.6. The courtyard. I like it. The birds are a nice peaceful sound when you join, and the more trees make it nicer aswell. 7. The Ceremonial Hall. A little smaller pillars, which helps the fps, and I love the giant emblem on the ground. Cool stuff. 8. Mune's Bar. I like the new lighting in there, it seems more clubish that way. And the ads on the walls are cool .9. The memorial. Besides the little fps issue, it's beatiful. The room is pretty, and the new plaque is awesome. 10. The pit. Pretty much it's just a little bit more complicated. There are more platforms, and more things to jump on/climb on, which makes pit dueling and FFAing more fun. And there's no way to cheat to the bottom .11. The overall lighting was great, and very well balanced, not really much to say there. 12. The overall detail in this map is incridible. Just the hallway to the fort shows the time and effort put into this map. Thumbs up to Virt for choosing quality over speed, it was well worth the wait. So, three cheers for Virty, and his amazing v2 map, the best JA christmas present ever! (well, so far ) _______________ Top ten reasons to get a better computer...|My fan |
