I think there may be a bit o' confusion out there about the padawan "rank" and where it fits in the academy. A padawan is a student who is being privately trained by a staff member. It is not a promotion or a higher rank. It is important to remember that the real "rank" of padawan is "student." I've updated the Holocron to clarify this. |

Yeah, remember this guys. There is nothing special about being a padawan. If you can't make classes cause of your RL schedule or time zone, someone may take you on as a paddy. If someone thinks that they can teach you more than you would learn in a class, they may take you on as well. Sometimes they will do it cause you just flat out suck at the game, and they want to make you an awesome player out of the goodness of their hearts. Being a paddy will not get you promoted to JAK+ any faster. Although, most of our ranked members were JAPs before they became Knights, there are still plenty of them who who weren't, as well as retired members. But just keep this in mind, the only reason we wear the JAP tag is because we are "official" padawans, as in, it shows up on our profiles. You can still be the padawan of another student. It doesn't mean that you won't get the same quality training as you would from a ranked member, alot of them are still learning.  _______________ - Proud padawan of Kueller. - We really are at the beginning of it all.
