It is with great grief that I anounce that Luke Skywalker decided to retire from his JAT position. The force as chosen a different path for one of our best JATs, no doubt that he shall be missed and remembered not only for his skill but also for his dedication to the JA. On a personal note I’d like to thank Luke for all the time and patience he always had for me. He won’t be leaving permanently though, he promised to drop by once in a while. Here’s the retirement speech he asked me to post here: "It's been a long time since I first set foot in this place. So much has changed, indeed. For the better you ask? Well, that depends on how you look at things. It's time for me to set aside my accomplishment and leave my position behind. There is no guarantee I'll come back for it, though. I got plans, and I wish to put the time into putting it into further motion.  I still may make some appearances down the road, but no longer wielding the JAT tag or stick... (not that I ever wore my tag or ever hit anyone with my stick  )I want to thank everyone who's helped me get to where I did, there's so many of you who I owe so much to! Like I said... never know if I'll come back for it... things can change at the blink of an eye... like the Jedi Academy. Please don't attack me about why I'm doing this. I know it's all of the sudden and half of you most likely did not see it coming. If you're going to question me, you're just pushing your luck in finding out." - Luke Skywalker |

Cripes... I remember my first class at the Academy was your medium stance one, and I was amazed by your skill, knowledge and dedication in making the effort to teach us chumps (even Aratan!  ). You will be missed. Im at a loss for words and yet i can write an essay for this so ill try my best to keep it short. Luke its really a shame to see you go . You were one of the first people i met when i came here and you are just as kind now as were then. You were more than a trainer here, you were to many a role model . You helped me in many ways and i can't thank you enough. You helped me make the right choices on some of the things ive had to face here. You gave me something to aspire towards, a goal so high that it would always push me to try harder. Although I was trained by eclipse I owe you almost as much of the skill i gained as i do to eclipse. Thats another thing you showed me, you taught me no matter how good one becomes, there is ALWAYS room for improvement and that is what keeps me trying to get better. In addition to all this you were a friend, someone that can be trusted and for that i thank you . To sum this all up i would like to say You Will Be Missed Dearly.
