One lucky guy or girl out there is running Outlook, no virus scanner, and has quite a few JA members in their address book. We're recieving a plethora of virii in our email lately, and it's driuving us nuts! So here's a friendly reminder to patch your Operating Systems! The concept of sissy web browsers is extended to sissy mail clients. Please get a virus scanner, patch your OS, and use a real man's email client. Failure to do so will result in you being shunned by the rest of the Internet. Thanks! |

I use Outlook and internet explorer  but there no way a virus could have goten through my Mcafee. I dont know about all these programs cause im pretty young and i sux with computers. Yay Mozilla! I'd been using for a while. Good things too, and I have less headaches than with any of that Windows gunk. If only I didn't have to use IE to do Windows Updates. hrm.... But yeah. I guess I deserve a ban then Don't worry I had to erase the content of my 2 comps yesterday... And reinstall a fresh system but it will be Windows xp as I don't know how to use anything else. Secondly, I was using outlook, so maybe it was coming from me, I don't know. garos: when we last updated our site, dj made sure it complied with all internet standards. problem with that is, internet explorer doesn't comply with all internet standards, so it does some weird things with the site. since there's no way to fix these weird thigns without losing compliance with standards, DJ told every to ditch the sissy browser (Internet exploder) and change to a Real Man's (or woman's) browser _______________ -Academy Leader/Dictator/Defeater of DJ Sith and JACen Solo in the JAK+ Tournament -I do think it (the JA) will help convert dozens, maybe hundreds, to the dork nation... --me This comment was edited by doobie on Mar 29 2004 12:07pm. |
