Hello everyone, Its time for you to tremble in fear. Well ok not really, not yet anyways. This here is an offer to some of our troublemakers at the academy that think they are getting away with what they are doing. I know a lot of what has been going on. So this is the deal: If you have ever done anything in violation of the rules be it using bound commands to giving out the server passwords this is your chance to come clean. You e-mail what rules you have violated and you will not be punished at all for these violations. This does not include anything you've already received a warning for however. Now if you decide not to take up this very good offer appropriate action will be taken against you(edited for wording). So this is in your best interest to come forward rather than risk being removed from the academy because as I said I know a lot. And now on the flipside for all of our quiet rule following members here at the academy. I would like you to e-mail me any instances of rule breaking you have seen. This will be completely anonymous and you will not be revealed to anyone but me that you are reporting these. I will listen to everything you have to say but providing proof will allow more immediate action. Once again this includes many things, violations on the server, racial or sexual harassment from any academy members, and even cases of admin abuse. Yes even our staff members are subject to the rules, believe it or not. This is meant to help make this place even better, and your chance to help in cleaning up the place you love to hang out. Please e-mail me here DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CONFESSIONS AND REPORTS HERE AS COMMENTS. This is meant to be anonymous. For the rule breakers looking for the clean slate you have until March 31 11:30 pm GMT -5. The clock is ticking for several of you. I suggest being smart and keep it ticking. Here is the deal: We DO now a lot of things that are going on, even while the people who it concerns try to hide it, and think otherwise. On the other hand, there are also some cases we might not now about. It is up to the person itself to make the choice. It is a BIG RISK not to come clean, as "you" don't know what we know. We don't justify any things that persons might have done, but see this as a one time "get out of jail free-card". If you are anxious to come clean, and make a fresh start, this is your chance. If you have something on your mind, of are doubtfull about something you might or might not have done, send an email. It is as simple as that. Even if you are not sure if it was "wrong", or if it was a big deal: Feel free to send an email. As I said again: This is a chance to make a fresh start. I believe (almost) everyone deserves more than one chance. It is up to you. If you feel you are in a "risk-area", it is better to send it. If you don't, and we know about it, you are basically in trouble. If you DO, you get to come clean, and start over. The choice is not as hard as it seems. |

Umm Aiden's post actually just FORCES me to write this. Not 1, not 2, but 3 of my friends have been banned from the Jedi Academy; and I doubt that there was a warning (I doubt it, I don't say for sure). So now ppl get the chance to confess what rules they've broken and then "get away with murder"? Let's compare: Banned with no warning -VS- not banned, no warning (both cases for breaking the rules). Okay you'll pay more attention to what they'll do but still it's not the same. Don't you feel that the older ppl that were banned are kinda treated unfairly by this post? Maybe you don't... I don't know if you knew anyone that was banned (I don't wish to comment on this) so maybe you don't understand what I feel and am trying to say... I don't like this idea; that's about it. You may not care what my opinion is; you're a JAC and I'm a JAS. From what I've learned till now, you probably don't. aight welll im gonna be giving you a lovely personal opinion.. i really hate this idea, and yes buzz, it made me want to shoot you well thats that, i think i really ought to explain why i feel like that.. i got banned like 2 weeks ago, and i have only just been alowed back, i don't actually feel that i should have been banned, i don't feel that what i did really deserved it. so, i come back and your giving people who actually have done summat wrong the chance to get off easy, when i suffered a ban, as i stated, for summat i don't believe was justified. please don't get me wrong here, i am not attacking the council, or your decision, its just, i don't like to feel that i have been treated unfairly, and that is exactly what i feeel like from reading this. and no im not asking you to do anything about it or whatever, i just thought i would give you my opinion. -Aiden p.s. no im not actually gonna shoot you buzz, but you made me feel slightly angry, to say the least. Is it just me who find this a bit scary. I believe i haven't ever disobeyed the rules but still felt uncomfortable after reading this. I have always enjoyed playing on the servers chatting on iRC and posting on the website. But this feels weird.
