Edit: Stress test over. Stop spamming the site.  The new web server is up and in place. I think I have most of the bugs worked out. I need to see how this server reacts under heavy load though. Please go here: http://216.234.234.202/ and log in with your JA account. This should be a copy of the database as of a few hours ago, so you may notice some slight content changes. Anyhow this is a stress test. PLEASE spam (this is the only time we want you to do this). PLEASE try to download my skin pack a bunch of times. We're trying to stress the server here. Report back here with its performance, if you get any errors, etc. Thanks! Once this is verified up and good I'll have the DNS moved over and a proper site copy done. Oh yeah. Feel free to make silly posts there. They're all getting deleted once the site is moved. |

my d/l of the pack seemed to be good for my connection. in the 100-120k/sec range. i can peg 130-140 when things are smooth at night. some pages loaded slow though, could be because all my bandwidth was sucked into the d/l. looks like that was kind of the case. _______________ this is the internet, be serious damn it! |

It's running great DJ I'm still getting a steady 38ms. The only problem I had was uploading a new pic it kept switching back to the old one that I deleted. So far I'm not seeing any problems like everyone else so maybe that has to do with their browsers. I found that some pages took a long time to load while others loaded very quickly, no discernable(sp?) pattern. I'm d/l-ing the server pack now and it started out at 10K, but it's up to 23 now and slowly climbing. i said "A" a few (cough) thousand times in 1 post, and i can't seen any comments under Solo's news post... Edit: it loads a long time and it shows the news post, "add comments" and "Comments" in a black box under that, and then nothing Edit 2: the 2nd time i did it (MUCH MUCH less A's) nothing special happened..
