I've been asked to write "a little explaining speech to post on the news" and I agree I owe you people some more words about the whole thing so here goes: First of all, here's what I wrote in the forums: "This is it, I am stepping down. I've thought long and hard about this. My decision is final. I cannot do my job properly anymore and I feel the time is come for me to move on. I will get JK:JA one of these days and keep playing it here, as a student. My teaching days are over. JK2 is out the window for me. Sorry if it looks like I'm letting you guys down, this is really not my intent. And do not worry, I am not quitting for 'all the wrong reasons'. I know what I'm doing. It's been fun, and an honor, to work with all of you JACs, JATs, and JAKs. You guys do an awesome job! And it's been fun bossing all you JASs around  . I will still be around the forums and IRC, but you won't see me around the servers at least until I get JK3 (I know I haven't been on for a long time but now it's official},.Long live the Jedi Academy!! Bubu|JAT over and out." So yeah, Bubu is not longer a JAT. But fear not, I am NOT leaving. I repeat, I am NOT leaving. I will be around as usual, only without the rank. Many things have led to my decision. The main reasons are: a surge in RL responsibilities and commitments which brought about a lack of time to devote to teaching, a drastic decline in my interest in JK2, and inevitably, my fantastic ping on the servers (250+},. Once I get JK3, which should be some time around the end of this month, I will most probably start playing on the servers again. And, who knows, I might one day make it up to the top once more. I also intend to write up some of my classes as requested by the Holocron staff sometime in the near future. So hopefully my classes and my teachings will never be forgotten. For now, the only difference between the old and the new Bubu is the tag, and the fact that I will have no special powers, admin or otherwise. I love you all. - Bubu[JAS] |

I am still thinking If I will stay at the Jedi Academy..... Tomorrow I get the game... But I do not think the academy will help me out that much. Even though I got to a Journeyman in the younger days of the academy I don't think I will try to step up to the Knight or Teacher position. I havent played on the servers since last september :/. Its been fun and my final decision is that I am leaving. Good luck to the people I knew and have fun. (wait a minute, I might play, maybe....) ENo is out..... You always have my respect, Padawan. Although this was one of the things I never thought you'd follow me on, as I stepped down a while back, and then you step down now. But I definately understand. If you even have learned a shred of wisdom from my teaching you, then I know you've done all this for the right reasons, and I've nothing to worry about. But hey, from what I see below, you've made an impact in the past, present, and I KNOW the future. And I know that you're one of the rare people in the JA who isn't just "some guy I play against online" Bubu, but you are "my friend" Bubu. That's how I and others have referred to you, and will refer to you. You are "my friend" Bubu, my "old Padawan" Bubu, and you are a "noble person" Bubu. See? You don't need to be Bubu[JAT], you have enough wonderful tags as it is. But I'll still be around and reachable through e-mail, if you ever want to try your hand at my advice (a risky option, my advice, but hey, it's an offer.) I'd wish you the best of luck, but I know you don't need luck. You have talent.
