JJ showed me this recent post from him and asked me to make a news post about it. I think it is new's worthy so I copy/pasted it. Please read it. Folks, I bear bad news. Tiamat, AnaalNathrakh, Maciek, or however you know him, was recently involved in a horrific accident, in which he sustained very serious injury to his shoulder and hand. He recently went under the knife, and we haven't heard from him since. We know that he will never regain full use of his shoulder and hand again, thus, it is likely he'll find it difficult to play JKII with us again. Maciek is a dear friend of mine, and has stuck by me through thick and thin. He was also the first person I taught in the JA as a padawan/apprentice. Please leave words of support for him, because by god, i'll drag his butt to the doors of the JA if I have to! I'm really sorry to hear about this... It's pretty disheartning. It somehow feels like no one in the JA community would be hurt like that or even worse... It's a rude awakening for me. I'm 101% sure that you have all of our support here at the Academy. It's not much, since I didn't know you well, but from one to another... Stay strong, get well soon. i don't know you and i don't know if i ever will. but that isn't what matters. what matters is that we here at the academy are rooting for you and hope that you will experience a speedy recovery. you may never regain the use of your hand and shoulder, but please don't let that stop you from living your life to it's fullest potential. may the force, and our prayers, be with you. btw...this is my 1000th comment. this is a perfect opportunity to use it. |
